its a UAZ jeep. very capable off road machine... we have couple of em in Pakistan... One i saw performing in IJC event as well.

Oh! It thought it was a modified Jeep similar to those found up-north. But the monogram had me in doubts.

Drove the UAZ 4 WD vehicle.
It looks a very capable off-roader.
Handles well in rough terrain, but is also amazingly good on tarmac.
Good value for money.

I am an Islamabad based off-road enthusiast and would like to do Naran Babusar Pass towards the end of March,2012. I drive toyota Vigo -Hilux and would appreciate if Any one who can suggest on following:

1. Can it be Done from 23rd March onwards?

2. Any updates on the Snow and whether hotels will be operational or not?

3. Balakot Babusar pass what would be a commute time?

Difficult to comment upon. It will be alright till Naran, I expect. Beyond Naran, I doubt the road conditions will permit adventures of this sort.
Getting a hotel till Kaghan is easy, you may get something in Naran. Beyond Naran may not be possible. Balakot to Babusar is a good 6 hours in reasonable weather. In the present situation, it is a wild guess: May Not Be Possible At All.
