These two pictures are from where we stopped and turned back. There was all virgin snow. We enjoyed like anything.
We had good snow tyres and the vehicle was comfortable. However, me as the only driver, and being miles from civilization on all sides, I was not comfortable going on and on.
A few times, we felt the vehicle slipping, and getting ready to start spinning wheels.
The tyres are biggish....285/75/16s... not the regular 275/65 or 75. So, the snow is quite tall, but this is not the exact amount. The vehicle was actually riding over the snow. So, we were compacting the snow as we went, rather than cutting through the snow. So, the road is quite deep down. We estimated about 2 feet of snow.
We were worried of the car getting hanged...... with all 4 wheels spinning. and there was nobody to pull us out.........
