While India did win the semi final and Pakistan comes home with a defeat we need to ponder on certain areas which require improvements.

Probably batting is our weakest link and partnerships and individual performances have been hard to come by considering that no Pakistani Batsman has made a century in this world cup. Too much reliance on shady and irregular batsmen like Yunus Khan and Misbah ul Haq have left the batting order struggling in case of the bad performance of these two batsmen. There is a need to rethink and restructure the batting order.
Having Aquib Javed and Waqar Younis as coaches have certainly improved the bowling department but has left huge cracks unfilled in the batting department. Struggling batsmen with below average running between wickets has been a plague for Pakistan. There is a need to have specific batting coach(es).
A Special coach for fielding is an immediate and urgent need.
Another important issue is the use of psychotherapists and psychiatrists to handle player psyche and mental improvement in such tournaments specially when playing under pressure. Such thing should be promoted and emphasized to a large extent.
Last, is the removal of politics within the team. There have been certain concerns over players (specially senior ones) who are not willing to perform under Afridi. These seasoned players are evident in our batting lineup.

Probably there are other issues and opinions but again this is just an opinion.

I would want to thank Afridi for returning us this most precious thing that used to exist in our Nation.

Trust me guys. The way I have seen the match; I am feeling even better now. We were 10-12 Pakistani's surrounded by 40+ Indians and we shouted for every run that our team made. We lost, but we returned with a satisfaction on our faces. We could only see Indians on the roads, but we were chanting "Pakistan Zindabad" and even they were surprised!

So, I think, we have won! Shayad Allah humain iss haar se yehi sikhana chahta tha. Agar hum jeet hatay to shayad maghroor ho jatay.

Well played Pakistan! No one imagined that we would reach to the semis! I still am proud of them.

bro like i said,
Afridi promised that the team will rech till semi final and they did it.

we didnt ve Salman butt, Amir and Asif cause of ban, Shoaib Akhtar was not fit too.
imagine the type of pressure the team is playing under,without top bowlers and batsmen.

i am still happy they reached the semis.

he was playing a good cricket unlike others....!...if some batsman would have stood by him..the scenario would have been different..! :)...he is the best batsman right now pakistan have with the highest avg of scores in team..!!
