Did Zic change its engine oil names? There's no XQ or A+ or A on their website.
Rather, X7, X9, X5, X3 are there mentioned.

yes the names and packagings have changed. zic a+, A and 0w are renamed to zic x7 5w20, zic x7 10w40 and zic x7 0w30 respectively.
zic xq has been renamed to zic x9, zic hiflo has been renamed to zic x5 and zic m has been renamed to zic x3

Well, u have to ensure a couple of things. The 2nzfe should be fed with the latest grades oils I.e. api sn nowadays. Shell hx5 10w40 is api sn. I dont know about petron 10w30's api grading. Go for petron only if it is api sn. Otherwise stick to hx5. However I know some oils which are better than hx5 in 10w40 category. Zic A 10w40 and castrol magnatec 10w40 are also good oils. Both are api sn

Goto nearby toyota showroom and have a look at their 10w30 series. There are two 10w30 by toyota, one is tin packed one and the other is petron. Check the api grading for both and then let me know

Patron plus is API SM/CF SAE 10W30.
