Doing since ages without any issue... You can open it after 8,000 Km and see filter paper and membrane condition yourself
Infact Suzuki also provide Guard filters at their 3S

What is the best oil to use for corolla 2012 gli 1.6 automatic transmission. I live in Abbottabad hilly area and average temperature in winters Nov to Feb is -1 till 18 degree.

I would recommend Total Quartz 9000 Future series 5w-30. Its best for bucks.

SO if the quality of oil is good then drain time can be extended. Would you use Amsoil signature series for 20,000 or 1 year as recommended by them? @tintin1

Hey, did you change your transmission oil ? Which oil you are currently using? you can concern with your car manual. anyhow 5w30 grade oil with 86k ODO sounds fine. Use only fully synthetic engine oil.

if you get it directly from drum u can save about 300 on litre.

drums are available on company operated outlets only. they have digital counter and pay for the oil you require not the whole gallon

Hey how are you ! Yes i did changed transmission oil brought it from guard auto zone one of the shops you recommended and got it changed from Asad autos he is very nice guy and also seems very honest person. There was no manual with the car and i am having very hard time finding one anyways the oil i have pour this time is havoline formula as recommended by the car tune up (honda pit shop) in Abbottabad its thin oil and non synthetic they said if you dont face any issue then use this or move to synthetic i am not facing any issues but going through the forums i think i have got the oil wrong

Asad autos people are nice and honest. Never been to them but they are old pioneer in this mechanical field.
Tbh, i do go there sometimes to car tune up guys, just take suggestion only but dont listen to them most of the time. I once took my car for tune up and they really mess up with it. but But people from my family always go to them and they are happy with their services. Pata nahi mere sath he q phut hota hia Well, if you are not really sure about anything go to asad autos and ask for their suggestion and for electrical work, you might heard of mustafa chacha, he also has a shop in small industry.

A little hack, if you are not sure about anything of your car engine. find your car engine name, google that engine name with specs and feature and you will find out what part you need for your car.

havoline formula kon sa grade oil dala ap ney ? assuming 10w30 dala hoga unho ney :o agar 2k reh geya hai and you are not having any problem so far tou halal for money and do more 1.5K and change it. Baki @tintin1 bhai is senior he can guide you better
