All i know is thick oil drag the cars for better performance and have bad fuel average, I know someone using 20/40 in his car driven only 25k KMs. it is running well but not at the optimal level. if not recommended thn thick oil is slow poisoning to the car engine

I use zic x7 10/40. it cost me 2600rs (not per litre, its a total cost). I guess its not tht expensive to feed a proper oil to the car engine.

2600/4L is perfectly fine. Zic 10w-40 is a very good oil and used in many cars provided that one buy the original product. Many fakes are out in the market.
Used the same oil in Vitz for 2 years then sold it.
Good enough for 4000km.

These are not for 'cycles with motors'. If someone wants to use it in his 90s Honda, that's sick.

+2km/l than the petrol version.
Mostly 13-14 in city and 16-18 on long.
Provided the diesel pump is in good State and not fooked up.

people says diesel car has high maintenance cost and difficult to keep? why is it so ?

Same reason because of our 3rd quality fuel.
Which destroy the engine internal mechanism + people using wrong engine oil + not doing the periodic maintenance + jugars of local ustads + many other things.
The fuel filters need be changed every 10-15kkm. Many components of diesel engine is different from petrol which needs different care.

Can you please list them as thinking of getting diesel car so i should know how the maintenance is high and difficult thn petrol engine.

I don't know much but simple things like,

1. Oil change every 5k km as Diesel engine have larger oil capacity as compared to petrol. ( 2c have 5-5.5L).
   Extra bucks for oil but on other hand it requires 10w-40 or 15w-40 which is cheaper.
   Plus oil + air filter.

2. Fuel filter change at 10-15k km. Extra bucks

3. Keep eye on diesel pump every now and then. I think there is some period after which it's timing is checked and corrected, which 99% mechanic can't handle. Bad pump means engine is going to die soon.

4. Just like Petrol engine valve clearance on diesel is I think very different due to same reason no proper mechanic or machines. Even mechanic here can't properly set valve clearance on petrol let alone diesel.

5. Diesel don't have spark plugs but glow plugs which I think is not easily understandable by many people. But they don't go wrong so early.

6. Some don't like the sound of diesel engine. Also nowadays it's expensive then petrol.

But in the end it's a personal choice.
I myself like diesel bcz of better response and drive. Way more torque then petrol engine. Rather fun to drive.

how much cost for the fuel filter ? 5.5l engine oil. approx 2000 extra laganey pare ge oil change pe ? baki tou general maintenance hai jo petrol cars ki b hoti. in simle word diesel gari ki tuning. so diesel gari ki tuning expensive hai petrol sey ?

Got Toyota fuel filter for my father's LC100 1hd-fte for Rs700.
Oil uses is shell R4X 15w-40. Oil capacity 10L.
Oil change cost Rs 5500-6000.
Change oil after 6000 km. It can be used for 10000km but as it's totally driven in city so on safe side 6000km.
Air filter changed after every 2 oil change.

You recommended me an electrician some time ago for tunning can you please share his details as i can't seem to find it and i also had a bit of an issue with cartune up guys this time.
