Omer..dont cry..I feel worse for being there and not participating the rally...

The plus side is that Ormara is just a 4 hour drive, if you have two cars and few guys willing and able, then a return trip can be made in one day.

Leave by 6am, reach there about 10:30, stay there till 4pm and return back to Karachi by 9pm.

You can do it on any given Sunday. Its as easy as that.

Excellent Photography, I was in full fledge mood to go but unfortunately got stuck in some family commitments. And now I regret it. I heard from couple of frnds who participated in the rally tht the track was quite difficult. One of ma frnd's car broke down in between the rally. Ur Frnd must be an excellent driver as in offroading its always driver which makes most of the difference.

CharterAli...There is a hotel over there, its called the UK hotel. Not sure about the quality of the rooms as we stayed on the beach.

My friend is an excellent driver. The night before the rally except for one person, Ghazanfar Raja ( who gave good advise), almost every driver told my friend that his Prado on stock suspension would break down. That his Prado simply did not have what it took to complete the rally. Well guess what, the souped up 4x4s did not complete the rally as out of 22 entries only 8 reached the finished line.

I traveled on that road it was awesome. You wish you had a W16 I also traveled when there was no road, on a 4X4 it was fun driving, will post pix laterz.
