since OHV are now generally used in small generator engines.......with small cyl and 2 valves....!
SOHC are now getting away.........!
DOHC and TWIN Cam are ruling nowdays....!!
but 16Valve engines on SOHC.....
i fell bad :S.....

on the whole yes it is true i know very little about diesels engines sinc ei have never really opened one up (with my own hands). I know hte theory behind them and all but i'm really in the mood to go out and buy a scrap engine and rebuild it. I've always known about rotart and otto cycle petrol engines but never had too much hands on work with diesels.

I've worked on alot of the externals of diesel engines but have always wanted to get my hands into the gubbins on the inside,... maybe soon.
