how are you planning widen the wheelbase?

the planned car sizes are much bigger to donner car so we adjusted the sizes in accordance to donner car ( length n width) however wheel base was require to be enhanced to 12 inches more which is accordingly done by detaching/cutting the floor at end of foot board at rear side and welded require size piece

i am happy that now few people are discussing technical aspects which could be helpful to those who are interested in vehicle modification/building, although the basic inspiration was taken from RR however we planned for our own designed and made accessories.
I started this project for the satisfaction of my old passion and keep busy myself in positive activity, i believe that one can made or get available most of the car parts and accessories at our country, here people are so talented they just need financial support and guide line, we will try our best to not import any thing until unless it is necessary
At the start i planned for time limit of 3 months for each vehicle but now its seems to completed in 6 months therefore i made some changes in plan, after one month we will start hummer h2 sut,( chassis job and rear doors of the same are almost completed), hopefully both vehicles will be completed in a span of 6 months, so technically speaking one vehicle 3 months

That I have already seen.

How are you planning to get the wheels to the edges of the car as the front and rear suspension setup on this car is not as wide as the body you are draping around it.

Zulfiqar sb probably i could not explain you properly at earlier,as u definitely knew that actual length and width of RR are bigger to the sizes of donner car of Mercedes 115, therefore we reduced the length n width sizes of RR up to the actual length and width of Mercedes (in proportional manner) so the actual chassis, engine, engine room ,front / rear suspension, floor, all door bracket, front pillars, roof , lower part of trunk etc etc of Mercedes could be used,there left just one difference of some inches in wheel base (in length wise not in width wise) which we meet by adding / welding a require piece in floor
(i am sorry for the inconvenience i never been at any public forum more over my language as well technical knowledge is not good as people at here )

it would have been better if you chose a W116, the W115 is not as strong or well built like the W116.

what welding are you using? I only see oxy acy in the pictures - do you have metal stamping jigs and english wheels too?

yes we are using oxy acy as well arc welding
at the start i was thinking to import some tools from usa, but my people are not familiar with, they have done all the job with local tools but i guess english wheel is essential for time saving, they are asking to build it here, what is your suggestion?

How did you manage to shape each door,fender and frame to look exactly like RR. Did your made your own dies or import these panels like one found for replicate any car.

we didn't make any dies nor we imported any body parts, all the job done by local tools, we also planned to make all accessories ourself, here people are so talented they just need financial support and proper guide lines

I had the english wheel in Karachi, bought it used from a godown, I did practice on it but its a heck of a job to work - the results are fantastic though - sheetmetal creases simply vanish

thatz nice, so what is your suggestion, shall we made here or import it, i am very fond of off road racing, do you know how many trophy trucks are in Pakistan and what is it price here?
