aoa members i have a problem which became worse and became heaadache for me ... car sputtering at cold and sometime on accelertion ... and i can smell fuel from exhaust too... it misfire also at cold that if i unplug wire from cylinder 2 it does not die ....i checked wires by swapping with each other problem was same cylinder 2 ..... no oily spark plugs or any deposits...all other cylinde was ok (means coil is working)

problem is on cng n petrol so (no fuel pump and fuel lnjectors problem)
@xulfiqar mechanic set IMA at 1.8 -2 V during tuning... plz guide me

yes i can hear knock sound from wire when touched to ground nut

If you are getting spark at the end of HT wire of that cyinder and injectors are fine as problem is on both CNG and petrol you are left with only one option that is faulty or short spark plug . I dont see any other reason...

which car???
sounds like a valve being jammed or shorted spark plug,,whats condition of the head gasket??

some mechanic said spark plug is ok and one mechanic said u should change spark plugs .... as engine goes to warm cylinder used to work...

if valve is being jammed then clear misfire can b feel through silencer but its clear after warm

Update....
I checked wire at full dark ..when i.unplug the wire from spark hole the wire become to arcing from different places ...when plugged the wire into spark plug the arcing is very less.... i touch screw driver (attached wire to grnd) it is little arcing on some places.....

Should spark plug wire arcing when not plugged in to spark plug hole??

When all the plugs wires are connected, there should be no sparking visible. At night if you can see some arcing with the wires connected to the plugs, then what you are seeing is HT leakage from the plug wires. In this case replacing the faulty wire should cure the problem.

@msabbasi its huge when plug wire is not connectd bt very less when connectd that i had to touch wire insulation to grnds to chk leak.....

If i buy kabli.wire.how to check.their arcing by plugging or unplugging the.boot into.hole

You should ZERO leakage when the wire is connected to the plug.

Forget all this Kabli second hand stuff. Spend a few bucks go to the 3S dealer in your area and get factory original genuine parts. NOT replacement parts from the local parts shop. Proper plug wires should last the better part of the life of your car. Other dulpicate wires/kabli $hit will give 2-3 years of life. Your choice.
