Well, the one found locally may be a Chinese copy, odd but true. I once bought a Moser head trimmer that I have seen professional barbers use and got it dirt cheap. A few days/weeks later it broke and I went to the guy. He admitted it was a low cost copy that looked just like an original and gave me a Kemei original that worked flawlessly.
Pakistan has a detailed excise tax list for imported products that you can easily find online. You may want to see if your product falls under a high tax group and then rest the case thinking it went towards building Pakistan.

I am guessing the postman wouldn't be dumb enough to levy such high 'malaai' on a small package unless it was something official.
