Hi today I wanted to buy some thing worth 11$ when I tried to pay via mobile app it said failure on payment. I tried again and it said failure. I am using mcb lite card. After a while I received two smses each stating that I made a transaction worth 11$.. But in my order it's still showing as awaiting payment..
I told seller to cancel one order if he receives amount.

Anyone else faced this issue? How to proceed.

Same case......... Mcb deducted amount. Its their fault and it has been 25 days of xtreme khuwari and i still have not got my money back.....mcb lite sucks.

at this point u'd that u had a bank account
same thing happened with me on my meezan card, waited for 3 working days nothing happened, went to branch filled the form, still nothing,
then called bank to see if there was any progress n amount was big too
they were kind enough make an urgent request for which i had to visit bank again n he made the reversal happen in just 2hours with that form, now thats some awesome support which you'll never get on just a card

one time payment n then annual fees as well, n how will you load balance into it in the first place n then for withdrawing there are charges on that too, i have used the card

Got a letter today. Saying retrieval fees will be 800 rupees. And the amount to be reversed was 741 rupees. Im furious ... I have called 50 times to their helpline .. Completely useless , incompetent and incapable staff. And the fact that i have to repeat my credentials every time i call is super annoying and explain my issue again and again. Lite card sucks. Mcb has poor customer support

Im not asking to refund here from seller.
This is their system error.
They deducted even when online payment was unsuccessful.

this happens when seller's system tries to deduct money and is charged from your card but seller's system goes offline due to load n hence the payment is stuck in between
they shouldnt really charge for this reversal, most of the times it happens automatically
calling on the helpline again n again is really frustrating i know it but they dont know anything either, this process takes alot of time if not automatic, bank can speed it up by using urgent form too
tell them to make a T pin for u so u dont have to tell ur credentials every time, once i got so frustrated that i answered all the answers without him even asking lol so he asked me different questions LOL

open up a bank account, if not then just get a ubl wiz card, it'll only charge one rs extra per dollar but u'll save annual 1300rs too

IBFT is the only reason im using lite card..
With wiz card you have to go to branch to load card.

hmmmm em not sure if funds can be transferred to wiz, maybe not as its not an account
but well its not a pain to deposit in ubl esp now when its on a 5min walking distance from my home
