You should return some $$$ otherwise they will stop sending items to Pakistan. Nowadays around 10% sellers don't ship to Pak and this percentage will increase with time

It was seller's fault, he sent the wrong item, I wasn't expecting refund but they gave surprise without any intimation. I think they looked at my messages with seller, I had sent him more than thirty messages and asked him to refund but he refused & said I am sorry but I can't help, his attitude was unprofessional & he didn't try to help.

Agree with you...
Some sellers just removed cheap shipping methods for Pakistan and they recommend DHL and such expedited shipping services.

The return item has departed ISB...

So people you can return items!!! Just visit Pak Post office . Also its very cheap, registered pak mail is around 500 for 0.5kg items

I did not pay any custom or duty on all those parcels which were sent by Post Services, Recently my 4 cieling spot lights went to Lahore Custom, May be they charge some duty on it.
But I had experience in Lahore Airport, I imported Some Tablet Pcs and some Computer Gadgets in past, I have gone through all process and knew how they charge and what would be the process next time.
I imported Chinese Tablet Pc,s and the Appraiser was applying duty at price of Samsung Tablet and IPAD.
I showed invoice, they rejected and said in our system people imported at this bla bal price... and they detained my consignment for 3 months, sent me to PTA to get NOC and PTA rejected to issue.
Any how, I want to tell you that they see Tariff guide and catogorize the product according to that book and then impose duty and taxes.
with out bribe we can not import.
Have try, May be they release single piece without duty or apply some charges

I have ordered 10" Tablet dual 3G Sim.. it came with in 3days from DHL now it have been detained By custom team Airport...

Today i have applied for NOC PTA.. lets see what will Happened Next... DHL so expensive so never go with DHL.. always ship your Mobile and Tablets from EMS.. no extra charges... DHL charger me 300 for letter delivery and 464 for processing Charges..

Customs may not ask for that much what dhl will charge you for using their warehouse during noc process. So never use dhl for stuff like this.

I ordered a Phone from AliExpress. It was detained by Customs Lahore GPO on 2nd January (asked them by email on imo.lahore). Its 13th Jan today, and I still have not received any detention memo, and they're not replying to my emails. Memo is required to get the NOC from PTA.
It normally takes this much time? Or I can go to GPO and get Detention Memo from there ?

What happened next? How many days they took?

does anyone know what the postal delivery process is for when custom duty has to be paid? if an item has duty on it, the person who delivers it has to collect money from me (at my delivery address)?

To date I have ordered about 20 items from ali express. Item 11 had duty. But it was at IMO lahore. They told me that 2 times it came back to them saying the address was wrong. Anyways I got it cleared from IMO lahore, was a pain.

So since then ordered more stuff and it has come. Now the last item is again stuck at IMO lahore and I suspect again its due to wrong address reasons. Can anyone suggest why is it not coming to my local post office (bahria town) or why it is being sent back? Maybe getting duty involves more paper work and the postman cant be bothered? Thus sends it back saying wrong address?

Edit: I have written the exact post code number for the bahria post office so there should be no mistake of where it is to go.

from what I read you pay custom at your doorstep. better call lahore imo for details about your package.

Yes, They open it, They write each and every detail on paper which was sent to the Appraiser after that.
