I didnt get noc,, my fone is still detained, But then i didnt know, that xiaomi phones are BANNED in pak.
So yeah, u might get it , duty should be around 3k or less.
I also did import tablet pcs in 2012.... It was worst experience but learnt a lot of things there.PTA did not give us NOC and our consignment has been detained for 3 months.I heard that PTA give you NOC in these days and that was pppp political age.

Well the problem with xiaomi is I think that they are using same imei for sim2 as sim1 . but you should never say xiaomi when asking for noc as they Just call themselves mi. Maybe there are many fake xiaomi being imported here. Seen once in hafeez center too.

But No NOC for me, i didnt open dispute also since it would be very wrong to do so.,Will wait for the day when xiaomi fones are legalised in pak.
And better get its imei blocked so that custom walas can't just take it for free

We gave bribe and used some references at that time and finally we got our tablet pcs.We faced loss but was better than nothing.

Yes , its all illegal. pTA says xiaomi Phones are Banned in Pakistan. You my request for NOC is regretted

My friend also bought from China but that is not the problem the problem is you cant import it here via mail. People in Pakistan are not even told about the rules before importing and nothing is mentioned on pta website about xiaomi. They should even explain why it is banned? due to fakes or same imei on sim2 as sim1. I suspect the later one. In the meanwhile I would say try asking about noc as MI not xiaomi!
