btw they clear the customs through the agent, delivery guy told me about their procedure

guy who came to deliver said customs didnt open it otherwise we would have re packaged it using tape at this area, so customs just imposed duty on the invoice amount, well thats y i kept it at 80$ as it seems fine value n not less, n since pak post also charges me 50% duty so i think there would have been no difference in duty, its good that i asked seller to mention lesser value, so still saved some duty lol

Its you luck that they accepted your price they know everyone can declare less value and seller can easily put less price... otherwise they can imagine their own price according to system and also they open and examine it if they want.

I think chaudhary sb did not face such matter ever before
I have personal experience in releasing goods by DHL... And by Agent...
For 3 months we visited Lahore Airport cargo terminal....almost 2 to 3 times a week...
We faced PTA as well...
Imported different items in bulk quantity and small consignments ...so i know how they charge and how should we import in future.

customs have imposed 100% duty on the product I have ordered. Though price was mentioned very low.
But still I do not feel satisfied as they should have imposed only 35% duty. Thats the actual duty charges. May be they can add few more by manipulation but there are fixed charges accrding to pct or hs codes.

I called the courier service thru which item will be delivered. They told me that parcel was wrongly sent to other city so there will be delay of 2 days.
When I asked about customs, he said that the person who deals with customs is not present at the moment, so he said to leave my nmbr and that guy wil contact me later and inform about the 100% custom duty they hve imposed.

Now as parcel is in transit for delivery, can I do anything about these custom duties or this bargain and discussion was to be done before delivery???

it was mentioned cctv camera n i asked 80 so it can be $20 x 4 which is quite acceptable

these ip camera are great, no need to connect wire, range is good
connection was easy too n they have 2 way audio which is working + they can be rotated too so i am happy with them so far

you've purchased battery powered?
I'll be purchasing too but need clear pic. I've found out hikvision 4Mp camera to be good. waiting for money.

yeah i did. i Haven't been to shops I've seen their reviews online. They're just 1 or 2 MP cams and the results are good in low light. i consulted my dad he said if you're getting something get high quality and with better pic so they're useful and he insisted to buy from Pak. will see from where i get them. All are available Pakistan aswell. I've seen on olx

Customs are really messed up, I think.
My product is $32 and they have imposed $30 customs duty.
Don't understand how it works.

Did you connect cam with wireless NVR or connected via router?
Also share the link and result of your cams in day and night visions.

They delivered what you had ordered.I don't think you'll get a refund bcz its not a defect and in this case you shouldn't really ask for a refund. If they agree, you'll get money back to your account with in 15 days i guess.
