Bro I have HBL account. Before current month I had to call helpline and activate the session of eCommerce/online shopping. Now they change the rule and I have to activate the sms alert service where I will get a pin code to shop.
The sms service charges are 116rs/month.

Is this or similar for all other banks?

Kindly also guide me if SCB account and card has better facilities so I will move to this bank.

Yes I know about this. That transaction happened on May 23 and today is June 02 but it is still the same.

In fact they only post the transaction after it has been finalized by VISA/Master. So let's say if you do transaction now, balance will be deducted from your account but transaction will not show up until two days later.

as per my experience SCB is Good i have Sadiq Islamic Current Account
Debit card charges are 800+tax yearly
and 56 Rupees Monthly SMS charges
there is no any other charges No monthly balance requirements
But if you open Normal Current Account then i think you have to maintain 1 lec rupees but in my view Islamic Banking is batter.
i had opened account with scb almost 12 years ago. i had account with ubl , mcb , askari bank but now i have only scb and ubl.
account opening requirements was just job card and a 5000 rupees check of any other bank which i given of mine mcb account. nowadays i don't know what is there requirements you should visit and then share your experience with us

Can payment be done with debit card also? I have askari visa debit card. But they are not accepting it. I called askari helpline they said this service is not availble in debit card. Is it right ? Kindly help me out with this.

I have used this one for about 1.5 years, it survived one summer season very well, it got very warm when car was parked under Sun whole day, but still it manged to survive one whole summer season.
And after that it worked well for the next winters, but in the next summers, it got damaged internally (most probably due to heat, while car is parked in sun), it turns On, but screen remains off and does not record anything.

and right now, i have bought this one, but just checked it a couple of times but not installed yet in any car, as i have sold my car now. but its build quality as well as video quality is far better than the previous one i was using.

I have always used SCB , no session opening or sms alerts etc.
just do transaction , enter card details and payment is instantanious .
in my experience with 2-3 banks , SCB has the best online banking and also best customer service overall.

I have SCB Saadiq (islamic) current account and i use their debit visa card for all online transactions.

isn't this way a little unsecured? bcz anyone can use card to do order without any confirmation sms etc?

no i meant their is no stupid rules like you must have sms alerts on for online transactions etc.

fzsaqib has given very good detail of what SCB charges are . yearly debit card charges and monthly sms alerty charges for any transactions in and out of you account. both are normal and reasonable. I have both on.

bottom line is . for online transactions and online banking I found SCB to be the best.

Yar himmat karke online shopping walay banein, SCB, HBL and UBL credit cards and almost all mastercard walay debit cards works on Ali Express (debit cards may need activation except for HBL and SCB). SMS alert service is life saver, must have it, and its charges are 116 Rs per month and if you already have it activated then same will work. Online shopping os secure, you need to be threaten agar aapki credit limit 1 million rs se above hai, yeh chotay motay laakh 2 laakh walay logon pe fraud ka time nahi kisi hacker k paas

Pichly 10 saal main mujhy kabhi SCB se koi call nahi aiye albata UBL or i think some ubl person sold my email id to advertising company tou mujhy os email py kafi mails ati hain or mere hisaab se wo email sirf ubl k pass thi.
