Does Hbl card does not work on aliexpress

I called hbl helpline and the told me that hbl does not work on ALIexpress

Dear can you explain it to me the process, the route through which my phone will reach to me if i order it to Peshawar.
Where will custom clear it, at Karachi where it will be landed or it will be send to Peshawar GPO and there it will be custom charged.

yes it is on DebitCard, dont know about the credit cards as i dont own any.

and no , there are no other charges , activation or service, etc.

in 2016, HBL did some changes and their Debit Cards stopped working on aliexpress, and they told me to get a credit card if i want to shop on aliexpress,
but recently, few months ago, they have activated e-commerce service on all theri Debit cards by default, and now it works on aliexpress falwlessly, and also with nominal charges approx Rs. 105.5/dollar.
UBL now a days charged me 111 Rs/dollar,

Can somebody with an experience of ordering from AliExpress, banggood or gearbest etc clear to me that if I order a cell phone from AliExpress and entered address of Peshawar, then where will pakistan customs department will inspect it and levy custom charges on it accordingly?

There is a long procedure for importing Mobile Phones(or any device which is SIM supported) to Pakistan (from any website),
I dont have any such experience, but you can go through this thread, this topic was discussed many times.
You will have to get a NOC from PTA and some other procedures as well.

Yes dear I know the whole process but in the whole thread which I hav read from top to bottom, I couldn't find answer of one tiny question that where will one has to clear custom charges on mobile phone, at local gpo(of his city) or at Lahore, karachi or Islamabad (where the package will land into Pakistan 1st)

you would'nt have to clear for customs. Customs will call you to deposit so and so amount.

Now back to ali express policy, usually vendors at Ali Express do not declare true prices of the articles.In order for you to avoid custom duties. So in case of ali express, 99% chances are you do not have go for custom and so. I am A3 member and been ordering inside and outside country and never get any problem

Lastly, i would say its worth trying. I am sure you would'nt fall under 1% customers.

I am not worried about customs, my dad is customs inspector
All I wanted is to make myself clear as to where my parcel will be held by Pakistan Customs upon entering into Pakistan.
Whether it will be held at Karachi Islamabad etc where most probably it will enter into Pakistan?
If yes then my second question, karachi post ofic will send my parcel to Peshawar post (gpo) where my parcel will be charged for custom?
Kindly brother make me clear about this.
Besides what does A3 means and hav u ordered any mobile or tablet from AliExpress?
If yes did it reach to u safely and what post was used by the seller to ship your mobile or tablet etc?

Hmm Customs.

Parcel will be delivered mostly via Pakistan Post to your home or you ll collect from post office (as they will call you).

Usually enters from karachi and moves to Islamabad/Rwp/Peshawar.

A3 is the second last stage member points/ trust with Ali express. As you move on with your purchases you ll keep earning this from A0 to A1, 2, 3 AND finally to 4.

Not mobile but smart watches, macbook stands etc..

Ok I can see you posted following review on AliExpress.

For Pakistani buyers, after obtaining NOC from PTA, you have to pay following taxes.. Customs Duty Rs. 750 Sales tax Rs. 1000 3percent value tax on total price, With holding tax 9percent of total value. If you total all these taxes its around Rs 4200approximately. worth buying better than used ones.

So let's say the mobile is exactly 10,000 rupees on aliexpress,

I will have to pay:

750 Custom duty (Flat rate?) +1,000 Sales Tax (Flat rate?) + 300 Value tax (3% of 10,000) + 900 WHT (9% of 10,000) =

2,950 total

Is there a fee for the NOC from PTA?

if not, does that mean a phone of 10,000 rupees will cost us 12,950?

there are 90% chances that it will get caught in customs.
for How much, no one can tell you, as these customs ppl usually apply custom duties depending on their mood, (actual policies may be dependent on invoice price, item weight and category)

It is recommended that you should not order such items from there.

Someone from post office told me there 150 percent duty on car parts so first confirm and then order.

According to FedEx website

Duty and taxes will be applied to all shipments at approximately 53% of the assessed value of the shipment.

Usually, FedEx and DHL take care of custom clearance and at the time of delivery bring you the invoice with details of custom duty.

53% is the luxury tax that they are asking from you. I recently ordered a simple LED light from aliexpress for my aquarium. It was 40 dollars something in cost. I had to pay 2k tax on it as luxury tax.
