No extra fee by the bank only item charges.What you have to do is get the card authorized for internet shopping for 1 hour or less than that and after that time bank will automatically cancel internet shopping from your card.

True. First i thought Visa debit is not accepted. But yesterday i ordered a cheap mobile cover (1.89$) just to check if it works or not before buying expensive items. And SC visa debit card worked payment is approved. Seller is processing my order for shipping now. those who dont have a credit card should try it out. It works.

Did you called the bank for internet activation when placing order?
No bro not all. No activation of any sort on standard chartered visa debit card. I just placed the order and it accepted. I got a text that 1.89$ have been deducted from acc. Today morning checked that supplier has started processing my order for shipping. Dont know abt other banks.
