Steps to clear package .
I'd card is must .
1. Follow the procedure.
They will give a form which is to be filled by custom officer that includes your package detail .
Then you have to take the form to senior custom officer which we calculate duty on it .
Now here comes your bargaining skills.
Duty on imported things is too high sometimes more then the cost .
Talk politely with custom officer and request to lower the custom duty.
The officer will also say "yar mein apki cheeze ko Landa ki category mein daal daita hun ab toe ap khush ho "then they will say go home,your Parcel will be delivered within 1week at home after paying the duty .
But even then the duty is still high .
Then final step
Come out and ask peon to bribe the officer which they accept humbly .
And you are good to go along with yout package.
In my case
My custom duty calculated was 64000 on cloths,glasses and shoes worth almost 80000
I simply give them 5000 and took my package .
