Dishtv is about 7 to 8k and videocon is about 10 to 11 both now comes with video recording option and hdmi output there is diff in reception quality that is why videocon is expensive on the otherhand dishtv has 40hd channels and videocon has 22Hd channels now its upto u whether u need quality or quantity

Original dreambox costs around 50 thousand this is for DM 800 SE clone is from 16000 to 25000 . This wont be a good option if u dont have much roof space .
I prefer dish tv for dth i also have airtel. I paid 10 thousand for 18 months subscription . We get indian recharge cards for half price coz the border is about 20 miles frim where i am

just for your knowledge that dish tv hd is not full hd. its 720p I guess. where as Videocon has full hd 1080p. now its up to you that what you get dish tv or Videocon .

no matter where you live.. accessing a content in way in which original provider is not being paid.. is called ILLEGAL. you pay 14000 of 140 thousand for a box.. if you are using card sharing service its illegal. And I mentioned.. your location can be pin pointed within 10 feet as you relay your IP address.

and by the way pakistan mein 99% tata dish cards 2 no hotey hein.so donot insist on them either they all are smuggled from dubai.

and for your info in 2004 pakistani group deliberately makes copy zee tv cards and export them to dubai illegaly.zee tv got bankrupt. a polit6ical game is also going on behind these things.plz dont ask me from where i get this info.all of us who r working in regal plaza karachi r part of that game.

bhai what is insight your pocket is only known by u or allah .same what programme is use insight ur machine is known by you.similarly all hacks is inserted in market by the company we hackers only put tarka on these thing.may u understand my point. the best satellite receiver is opentel made by korean company no one can hack that receiver until now so what i want to say that why they give ethernet port on back of receiver if u r going to watch sattelite channels.
secondly if i am a operator of some channels bonquet. and i want to sell 100 cards .if 80 card went away and 20 cards are stuck with me after some time i sell these cards info to some receiver manufacturer to conceal my loss. the satellite receiver manufacture put these info into its receiver and sells their receivers easily. channel walay kay bhi mazay or receiver banane walay kay bhi. and the game goes on. i spend 14 years in this field from installment to selling of satellite equipment. for legal and illegal i will just say go and buy tata dish what ever u want and after some day u will be blocked and shopkeeper will not take any responsibilty.

I hope you are not looking to shut down the thread! the hope was that this can be an information source for anyone looking to get HD channels and get rid of silly useless cable with poor reception, annoying adverts and unreliable service, which I think everyone is fed up of now!
