no u dont,if there in good condition,once ur current plug wires expire get r specs 10mm ones

i think one should do resistance chek of plug wires first ! in computerized tunning they chek the resistance of all of the 4 plug wires and it should be around 12 kohms to 40 kohms ! and for sure the conductor in the plug wire ( carbon or silicon ) worns out time to time because of the 25k-40k volts voltage passing through it rapidly ! the best is to chek if the engine is missing or giving a misfire if not then no need to change plug wires ! and if some one is very suspicious then resistance chek can do the work and as i said every computerised tunning resistance of plug wires can be checked

Oh, it was not in my mind that Saturday is a holiday because mostly I have Saturdays OFF :P.

In your other thread, you mentioned about 65Ah battery in your GLi. What difference you felt after installing bigger battery. I have stock sound system in my car and I have NO plans to install any sound system. This is irrelevant to this thread but I thought why to post in two different threads. I hope you don't mind :).

no issues at all,my reason for installing the bigger battery was only the sound system,so it gets proper Ah,
if u dont have plans to do any electrical modifications like hids,sound system etc... i dont think switching to a bigger battery is useful
about the difference,as i mentioned aim was more Ah to sound system,thats working pretty good for me,honestly havnt really noticed any other difference

Actually I don't have plans to install sound system, But there is a problem in new XLi/GLi, also reported on pakwheels, that RPM tends to drop when most electronic equipments are switched on during night time driving. Whenever you press clutch and apply brakes, the RPM drops below its normal position and then comes back again. Some members were suspecting smaller battery for this. What do yo say about it.

@jz: surprise to heard about replacement of plug wires after 10K. I don't think it is written in service manuals of the cars. Hearing you for the first time. I am not denying you. My knowledge may be less and we heard many things in life for very first time
