how much was cost of osaka 200 AH..I have one narada and one phoenix battery 150 AH for 3 kva system. .my avg load is 400 watt. .I want to get new batteries. will tubular batteries be a good option..I have only option available us 150 AH volta tubular battery. . will it be good

Have you ever equalized them in this 15 months period? ?
How much you usually discharge them daily? ? Depth of discharge I mean to ask. Plus one more question, have you ever noticed or seen any Black dust or lead particles in the battery? ?

WOW, this is the thing people dont know and keep getting in trap of shop keepers who just want their commissions, even i tried to convince my friends about tubular but they opted for regular starter batteries, now i am thinking to go solar, what brand do you think i should prefer ?

I am looking for 1500 watt but it won't hurt to have 3kva inverter setup.

Gentlemen, tubular batteries are way better than the regular starter batteries. Yes, quality issues do occur in Pakistan. Other than that, they are generally much better, and have great performance. They are used extensively in India. Interestingly, India is much ahead in efficient energy utilization and production. I did some research for my solar business. as I wanted to import tubular batteries from India. They have 3 years warranty in India!!! Can you believe it? And they generally last 5 years, minimum. You just have to keep the acid level in check, and that's it.

I can help and advise you with your solar solution. There are various types of equipment and brands, with their own pros and cons. In case 1500 watts is your load, the cost would be about Rs. 220 to 230 K. Feel free to discuss the details and what would be suitable for your needs.

Today I asked battery prices and got blew rates

Volta Supreme tr1600 20k
Volta Tr 1200 16k and tr 1200 Supreme 18k
Volta Tr 100 14k what are their capacities and what's the depth of discharge? Aren't that prices on the higher side?

If sine one is using them I would like to know how much ah are left in their battery. Please mention your Amp draw and charging any usage hours.

Price of Supreme TR1200 is 16k and it is 120ah. 18k is too high. Other prices you mentioned are ok. TR2000 is 25k with capacity 200ah.

Depth of discharge is 80% with life of 1250 cycles and 5000 cycles on 20% discharge.

Recently Bought fujika Tubular 200 Amp battery for around 19k. Fujika is also a brand by Volta Osaka. I was using Phoenix UGS 175 before it gave me excellent backup for 3 years and when I gave it back it was still giving around 50 Mins.

New Tubular started at 3 hours and within weeks come down to 55 to 65 Mins. Went back to the dealer and he charged it again but Sadly I am in trouble as the battery on meter looks fine but its not giving required backup. Avoid these tubular by Osaka Volta and all go for Phonix UGS series and who ever I recomended this are very happy. My experiment with Tubular failed. Lets see After Ramazan I will try and get the warranty claim.

I m confused about the depth of discharge figures. It says 1250 cycles at 80%DOD and 5000 cycles at 20%DOD...

Discharge it down to 50% and it will last for 5000 cycles?

Yes might be. But now I wonder how can I claim it? Because they check by gravity and that was last time very little low. Its supposed to give atleast 2 hours backup its a big heavy battery.

It says: dont discharge below 20% and you will get 5000 cycles. Similarly, discharge low as 80% you are still good but you will hve 1250 cycles.
Both figures are way higher than normal battery

I am also using them but they are only 1 week old. No battery can shorten its backup so soon unless something is seriously wrong. Please confirm your UPS/inverter details.seems u messed up with batteries by under charging.
