Osaka Tubular - Are they any good?

Wch brand is performing best. I did some reserach and my conclusion is osaka especially tubular.

My ups is .8kva
Wch battery will suit me interms of Ah value

I made this question, with a query in mind. Will it be difficult fr small ups be able to charge big battery..

My load is not that much. 2 fans. 3 lights max

Load shedding is not as such in my area . But once in a week or so it vanishes. Then its fr 6 7 hours

Preferably i need battery in price range upto 16k

Plz experts suggest me in simple nd understandable terms

Sorry for a long delayed reply My Osaka Tubler batteries expired on Jan 2020 after 4 years and 8 months long relationship. Now i installed Phoenix Tubler 230 AH.
If we talk about Tubler experience, it was good and reasonable in terms of cost and water refill responsibility. Its 4 batteries bank, 48 volts system.
After 3 years of service i found that that water levels drops quickly and batteries heat up slightly. The float charge voltage was set to 54 Volts and Bulk to 56. Battery keep charging and not go for float current which is 500 mah in past. So i decided to modify charging voltage. I do some experiments and found that 52 and 54 volts seems fine for current situation and when i test batteries on 1000 watt load, the battery bank gave me 20% - 30% less performance. After 3/4 hours of 600 watts load, the battery bank stand on 46 volts. I also observed black particle in cells and observed change in plates color. Its turn to smoked and at last turn to black when i replace the batteries. After removal of battery bank i tested on 1000 Watt load, got only 20 minutes and voltage drops to 43.2 Volts. however on 400 watts it stand on 45 volts after one hour. Throughout their life all the batteries are on same voltage and performance, even they die together. I never found voltage difference more than 0.3/0.4 volts.
I am sharing this experience for others people knowledge only and this discussion is open for questions.

Phoenix tubular has been a good experience for me aswell

Always read data sheet for battery life.Battery has life in terms of of number of cycles at certain depth of discharge. If depth of discharge decreases number of cycles (or life) increases.
I have installed 2 Osaka Tubular batteries (200 AH each) and working fine from the last 3 years

since 2018 July the quality of Osaka products have deteriorated. There has been 8 batteries (1 bank) failure for solar solution at our remote place over super highway. All claimed under warranty 3 months later failed again when 2nd time osaka replacement failed we switched to AGS and so far all is good

I am confused if i should go for tubular. And to go with which company. Phonenix or Osaka.
My setup is 5kva Solar having 4 batteries.

I bought 12 230 ah Phoenix batteries a year ago, they are all connected in series/parallel configuration, i.e 4 in series and then these three series connected in parallel.

After one year batteries don’t charge above 50.3 volts. Solar invertor shows batteries are fully charged in day time at 56 volts but as soon as sunlight fades out the voltage on battery drops to 50.3v. There is also some black dust in the electrolyte. I am not sure if the issue is with one bad battery or the invertor or it’s just the natural degrading over time.

check the specific gravity of each battery each cell.

no cell shall have SG lower then 12. Anything below 12 all cells be replenished with FRESH CLEAN 12.5 SG electrolyte and batteries be charged.

I did got it checked by a guy from local battery shop, he used a hydrometer and told me everything seems fine and said these batteries only last as much and buy new one
