Many congrats buddy. So you finally did get the civic instead of aspire eh? Good decision.
WiFi card doesn't come preinstalled in the car. To use internet, you need a wireless internet device (aka EVO).
To use WiFi, you need a WiFi card - these are two separate things. If you just want to use the internet from within the car's own internet browser etc, then just get EVO. Personally I don't think there's any use of it since you'd seldom be browsing Facebook or the internet while driving the car, and if you do plan on doing so, then - well, you would know how dangerous and immature that would be
So the only practical use is for either the passenger to be using it (again, not recommended and equally dangerous as it would distract the driver) or you use it while the car is parked. But nowadays everyone has smartphones, so googling up something really quick shouldn't be an issue. Hence don't buy an EVO just to use for your car. If you have one with you already then go ahead, use it.
The indicator lights you're talking about should go off when you actually start the engine. So don't worry about it, its nothing really.
However, IF they don't go off, then you've a problem. Plus, in case there is an issue, the iMID screen would also show some message (as indicated in the manual as well).
I personally won't have recommended that color. This car looks best in silver and white. Black is very hard to maintain. So yeah, as also suggested by other PW members here, get detailing stuff for it
Once again, many congrats. I am glad you got the navigation system with it, its really worth it because the backview mirror is completely useless in this car when reversing and the rear cam is almost very essential.
Safe drive bro!
