next part which fitted is cam shaft..you can see in the following pic.If you pay attention you will notice holes in its no#2 journal..this is its main oil supply from the lubrication system..
Holes are drilled in every journal (in this particular engine 4 as you can see) and are interconnected with central cross hole through out the length of cam shaft...
This is Amazing that after runnung for 26 years and 250000KMS there was hardly any wear and tear of the journals and they were still in perfect shape/round and at standard(no need for grinding to next size).
Gear in the middle is distributer drive and you can see two lobes in between journals which is pair for intake and exhaust valve operation except an exception no#3 from left,which is oblong lobe to operate mechanical fuel pump...
This is a simple 4 cylender/8 valve engine...
