Yes, Manual, its obvious PT cannot reach these figures except maybe on long journeys if driven well.

I own a 1.5 prosmetic, so far it has run 23000kms, bought it in january this year
Mileage depends on mood i.e. throttle totally. I travel from islamabad to sahiwal via lahore on motorway very frequently. this is almost 6.5 hrs continuous drive(540 kms through motorway). I have achieved mileage of both 15 kmpl and 18 on motorway, all depends on speed which i maintain. i have also achieved mileage of 12 on motorway but i was in different mood that day and average speed was 140.
Anyway, from lahore to sahiwal is 165 kms patch on N5 and due to heavy traffic brakes have to be applied frequently. I have achieved mileage of 19.3 on that route once when i drove at 100 kmph speed and tried to use brake at minimum by predicting the time for brake and releasing throttle immediately to slow instead of braking. i have also achieved mileage of 14 in that patch when i was accelerating alot and braking heavily instead of predictive slowing down.
Within city, mileage is not good at all, it ranges between 9-12 kmph, depending on traffic conditions i.e. braking frequency
But the performance of car is so good, you forget about mileage thing. I dont bother to look at mileage now. Fuel saving of 300 rs on a single travel is not much compared to the feeling of performance, in my opinion only, my dad thinks i am an idiot and i should save fuel

Getting excellent fuel consumption on my aspire 1.5L manual. If I drive on 80-90 I can easily get 18-19 km/l without AC on Highway . In city without AC with driving carefully I get 16.
Technique is that you push the throttle very gently keep an eye on instantaneous fuel meter and try to keep it on twenty,lift the foot from throttle about 100 meter before an incoming stop like signal without changing the gear it will cutoff the fuel supply and meter will show 40 full, these techniques require some practice but you will get excellent mileage.

I do the same thing with my civic 1.8 2014, unlike city the civic has color indicators specifying the driving style...green is for economy driving. Cyan is for average and dark blue for aggressive.

I drive the car like a video game trying to keep the indicator on green and not pushing it too far...my numbers are below

Any figures higher than 20 can be on a slope going downwards

i thought this average is normal for a hypermiller like me.

Filled up the tank to brink from F-11 Attock pump and restarted the trip meter.

car drove 760KM exact when i reached back to f-11 and the slight more than quarter tank was left.

filled up the car tank again from attock pump f-11 top check how much i have consumed.

Autofilled of tank stopped at 29.83 Litres of petrol. (Note that initially when the tank was topped up it was autofilland not the jhatka zabardasti tank full)

Average speed maintained was 90. overall speeds varied between 80-110 km/hr.

and i keep my foot controlled and keep eye on hypermilling meter in the cluster which i tried to keep above 20 through out

same car does 17-19 on highway when y father drives it.

That is something a little new for me. I have tried to hypermile but not been able to achieve this kind of results. Maybe I should read more into it or take a lesson from you

Alright guys so far I've done 500km and so far so good,

Engine: I haven't really pushed the engine and 1st gear launch is ok but the real fun I've had is the 50km/h to 90km/h acceleration in the 3rd. That is where this car is great, and mind you I'm still not pushing it and it wants to go. In this space it will leave behind any Rolla (no offence I have one) and any Civic on CNG (which surprisingly there are many).

You pushed the car in 3rd gear from 50 to 90km/hr when its driven less than 1000km.... extremely ignorant on your part.

there could be more gimmicks that you must have tried too, undesirable !
