Bhai sahab. 1.5 manual car with 120hp and lighter in weight can easily easily say bye bye to an Automatic civic in initial 4 gears. After 150. Civic PT will be able to catch it.

According to my experience,both will go same till 100kmh after that civic's 140hp kicks and it goes ahead also its top speed range is greater than city,Even if city beats civic,its grip will never be that good as civic on high speeds.
But a city1.5 got no chance with manual civic(i have one)

Relax dude...He has just accidentaly said this thing...I am a proud owner of City Aspire 1.3 Prosmatec and Alhamdulillah I have never observed any issues regarding engine or power...The car has great pickup even with 195/65R15 size Dunlop tyres!!!

city 1.3 has reported complaints of knocking in 1st and 2nd gear i myself tested that.In 2nd it had power loss

Last week I bought city aspire 1.5, Up-till now about 350km drove. Got Tank full on the day of purchase and after 300km , got full again. about 30 Litters to fill agian. Average is 10km/l. Same is shown on meter. And after that with very care full drive metter is showing 12km/l. (In Islamabad with full time AC on).
One of my friend have GLI and I challenged him in a race with my new car. Any suggestion for race ? Can new city beat GLI?
Can i race before 1000km?

why unfortunate ? 1.5 give very low millage , may be you are lucky one to have 1.3 instead of 1.5

I give to you the mileage and the trip, here are the FACTs, and the system don't lie, can any JDM/Civic match these speeds and this mileage, its a tough challenge

DONOT RACE BEFORE 1000km, but after that switch 2nd gear @ 25km/h, 3rd Gear @ 70km/h, 4th gear @ 120km/h, 5th gear Tested @ 180km/h, by this time the GLi should be a speck in your rearview mirror happy racing

Even 1.3L City can smoke Corolla Gli very easily.
However I will not suggest you to race, your car is just 350 Km driven. Whats the hurry? Toyota Indus is not replacing underpowered engine of GLi anytime soon.

The moment you lock the car, the Fuel Lid is locked as well. So no need to worry.

Brother my city aspire 1.5L has done 2100 kms so far but the average has still not gone up... 11.5 km/l... I wonder when its gonna improve...

@shawais.. Brother its manual... I never switch air conditioning off though... I guess i can improve by 3 to 4 km/l if i switch it off... but then, wots the point?

Hello guys this my first ever comment on Pakwheels... I bought my aspire last month (1500 KM done ) and still confused on my selection...
the fuel consumption is not so good, its giving me 11.5 on local and 13 on motorway with A/C ON..

I just need one clarification.. that my car achieves 120 Km/h with 4K RPM, as per my understanding it should be doing 120 on 3 RPM as my other car civic exi ( 1500 cc) do the same speed on 2.8K RPM....

The good think is that its quite powerful...

the fuel consumption is not so good, its giving me 11.5 on local and 13 on motorway with A/C ON..

I just need one clarification.. that my car achieves 120 Km/h with 4K RPM, as per my understanding it should be doing 120 on 3 RPM as my other car civic exi ( 1500 cc) do the same speed on 2.8K RPM....

The good think is that its quite powerful...

This is the same mileage which my 1.8 gives.and about rpm yes its on higher side as gli1.3 takes 3.7 rpm on 120.And ur.exi is auto which definitely takes less rpm than manual

My axio(auto) used to give 18km/l on highway and yes it can go head to head with auto city

i think that mileage of 11.5 with AC in local is not bad. your city aspire is prosmatec or manual ?
Well, RPM of 4k at 120 is too high. I heard that aspire 1.3L has rpm of around 2.5k at 120 kmh. i still cant believe 4k. Please reconfirm!!

We also have two civic exi 1.5 prosmatec and rpm at 120-130 is about 3k.

you have auto or manual? have u tested aspire 1.5 on motorway? Whats the rpm on 120kmh?
