Its a serious blow,that driver didn't even think for a second that he is playing with the expensive machine.If I were you I would have simply kicked him and beat the **** out of him.How can he do this?How did that haram khur played with it.He didn't even spend a single penny on her engine except washing/waxing her.Kick him behind the bars.

next time hire a proper well educated driver. if he makes a mistake you can go back and ask him is this what you learnt in school?

Infact the one we have can read & write english a runaway of 11th class from some place in NWFP. he sends text msg in english, attends office phone in after hours and write messages.

CASH catch - he fall prey to that,.

He know he is fired - his cell phone is revoked. & he will not get paid for October onwards in any case.

However we will keep paying for his 2 girls school going expenses. a govt school in chak shehzad, I promised that. A girl educated is a generation educated.

ok as he told u belt was found broken that can happen only if crank or one of the cam got stuck due to oil starvation,,, the cylinder doesn't look that bad and if the head was not deformed then heat up is out of question,,, it has to be either oil pump failure or oil failure and by the looks of oil pump it seems to be the oil wasn't changed for a long time or fake oil has be used many times as fake oil tends to form sludge in the engine but in such case when u drain the oil the amount of oil coming out of engine is noticeably less,,,,

so either the driver kept using fake oil and didn't noticed the condition of oil coming out of engine or he never changed it... under normal drainage and good oil there is no way that much sludge could form on the pump... also oil filter is changed with every oil change for the same reason

in 2nd picture do you see 2 sprockets - for both cams, runs on TIMING CHAIN not fiber or meshed belt. Cam bearing oil holes are done, as if they don't exist

i agree there is no oil change for sure, and choked oil pump intake summerise that oil pump failure has been a root cause of 'BBQ'

btw capsat, get new main bearing cap, connecting rod cap and cylinder head bolts for your overhaul - they are very cheap insurance, as the old ones are TTY one time use and most probably garbage now.

Also order a case of MANN/Hummel oil filters for this car too. That way you wont have low quality filter problems.

well by looking at the condition of ur engine i remember that sometimes back there was a bmw run approx 40000 km on single oil change and sludge deposited like this in the engine...
but maybe ur driver is victim of no 2 quality oil as any one can become victim of these cheating so easily that every time on oil change im not sure its original or not once i changed oil of my car from caltex pump but soon after that engine making sound then again changed with shell now its fine..

yeaap drivers do this all the time some family friends had a driver for their 05 xli Corolla one day i got a chance to drive it and the car was only in genuine paint else nothing was good i asked them about maintenance they said its done a week ago he took 7000 from us for oil change tune up and aliment etc and when i told them about the condition of the car what it was being made into they didn't believe me but they took it to 3s dealership and my analysis was correct oil
1 oil wasn't changed since last 10000 kms
2 air filter was so old it was BLACK
3 alignment never done balancing never done
4 no water in battery
so i think he did the same to ur car and i say driver should drive the car but for maintaince just take time and go with him so that he never cheats

my little diesel VW takes a MANN 940 oil filter - (the big 1.2 litre capacity black behemoth) it used to cost me Rs 520/piece. donaldson/fleetguard/clean cost me Rs 380/piece. So I asked a filter importer for a case of MANN 940/25.

Case had 25 filters totalling Rs 10,500/- I bought it, best investment you can make. I also got a case of donaldson oil filters for my house's other car (Honda accord 1.6) - per item filter cost came to Rs 250/- That engine is still fit as a horse, has 180 psi compression on all 4 bores and has 28 psi oil pressure at idle on a hot engine with 20W50 oil.

To reduce costs - split the quantity between freinds.

Its do-able - If me being a half lost goofball can - you can too.

You can also do that for air filters. Another option is to contact a filter manufacturer in Pakistan and ask them to show you their filters innards - if you find them acceptable, buy a case from them. Beats the dishonest "dukaandaar"

Got all Items last night - less the HEAD BOLTS ( the parts shop guy says use the old ones if those are not abused in disassembling almost same statement as their workshop said ) - for new bolts the wait time is 2 weeks. Checked from local market JAPANESE bolts are available but apparently the older ones Looks & weighs better then NEW JAPANESE ones.

am going ahead with assembling the unit starting 8 am this morning as am typing the team has left their home and heading for workshop.

will post the pics later in the evening.

Sir, this has been a very important lesson for me. I was seriously considering hiring a driver for my new car to drive the family for chores and to pick and drop my kids to school.
