Paid membership?

I strongly protest against this suggestion. I hereby present my "six points" as under:

1- Poor people should have equal right/s of expression.
2- MODs should be appointed/selected/nominated/etc. purely on merit instead of payment.
3- Privileges at Pakwheels must not be restricted to riches.
4- A survey should be conducted to know how many car-less (and bike-less) people (who can't afford to pay) are members of Pakwheels, their dreams must not be shattered.
5- If some people do want to pay, then the payment should be at least Rs.100000 per anum and the funds raised must be spent on buying motorbikes (on balloting basis) for the members having no conveyance.
6- If above points are not considered, I shall announce creation of an Independent and Democratic version of Pakwheels where everyone shall be treated with equality and I shall be its first chairman.

How many Pakwheelers are with me? (Oops..., I know and I declare that all are with me).

1. In my suggestion, they will not be barred from participating in the forum, they will continue to enjoy the posting pattern as they are doing currently.

2. It has nothing to do with moderation or appointment of mods, as being implemented on other forums. Mods are and will continue to be appointed as per present policy, it will NOT be the sale of MOD position.

3.It happens everywhere, who pays more gets more previliges, go to Nadra pay extra to get fast track option, go by air using the business class by paying extra, go for watching cricket for free (or with less amount) or pay extra to go VIP enclosure, in train pay extra and get the AC class or sleeper class, so why not on Pak Wheels?

1. those car less or bike less will continue to get registered in the same way they are doing presently, it will NOT be like kick out all those who cannot pay.

2. It is a website / forum not the charity organization

3. Unions and creation of any such organizations will lead towards the ban (kidding).

There is a box below the page, even with every post there is a button "Reply" or "Reply with Quote", simply click that and post.

paid membership is good option where they can be given special options.make it around 150rs per month which is affordable for every regular member.and why would pw reduce no. of visit when that free member has nothing to lose.

Yes, the objective of ads banners on site is to earn revenue for the forum, if Forum gets compensated by payment from members via paid subscriptions, then Admin is not supposed to have any problem in giving them ad free browsing privilege.

I think this site should stay free for registered users as other forums and similar sites. Members donations should be accepted though. having one or two add on the page doesnt hurt that much and it generates much needed funds for this site!

Going forward, Pakwheels can introduce printed mag, i think will be a hit for its add and articles about the cars. It will also attract people who are not online! Online version can be subscribed with discount over the printed one!
