The diesel engine is noisy on idle as soon as tubro kick in it sound so sweet

Petrol one has Toyota Crown engine. 2400 4x4. Also wana know if diesel engine noise impact inside cabin while driving as i never had such experience. Only owned petro cars.

Thts wht the owner said. My employee went to check car physically. He didnt check exact engine model but it was 2400.

My 'quote' comes directly from the registration book. There is a possibility that government increased the amount but can't be this much. The token of my Lahore registered 1993 Pajero was 13500

Isb registered old SUV's have very low Token tax, maybe something to do with date of registration and it should be around 500-600.

Diesel vs Petrol - depends upon proposed usage (On/Off Road, Weekend Toy/Daily Drive, Availability of Good Mechanic etc.). Kms/L are usually higher in Diesel unless its highway driving. Diesel noise will make it to the cabin in Gen 1.

To enjoy SUV ownership, you should get vehicles inspected by a reputable SUV mechanic and get a full report (something like PakWheels CarSure report) and then take a decision. Do not use any road side mechanic for this, find a person who knows the respective brand and has a few for repair at his workshop. SUV can prove to be a money pit if not pre-inspected properly.

Black is is completly rebuild as the owner is a seth sb and do it for shouq. He put almost 1.5 lac recently. One thing is bit disturbing in his pajero tht its sun roof was removed to make it clean an remove any rust. But it was damaged due to some delays. He is not finding new one. Gen 1 roof is available in any market?? Rwp lhr or khi?

Well, I'll do it tomorrow. But the latest news is that since my Pajero's token tax had been paid up till 30 June 2014, I decided to have it paid up to date. So, for the period from July 2014 to June 2016, I paid around 3600 rupees, out of which around 2000 is penalty.

Will share a picture in the morning, if I remembered, as the book is at my office. Cheers!

Here you go. One picture of the tax paid in 2013 for one year, in time hence the amount is 348. In the second, payment with two year delay, total payment is 3617 out of which 2016 is penalty. Hope this clears the doubts.
