Hi everyone, I'm Chris, I live in China.

I spotted this Pajero Mini last week and while searching the net about it, I came across this website. There doesn't seem to be much information about these Pajero Mini's in English...

Anyway, it was parked at a mechanics yard, and they said the transmission was broken. It's not easy to get parts for vehicles like this in China. My question is, is the transmission in this Pajero Mini the same as the bigger Pajero's? If not, is the pajero mini's transmission the same as any other car?

I think it needs a complete transmission rebuild or replacement. Since this vehicle is so rare I think that if there are compatible parts from other vehicles, they might be easier to get than Pajero Mini parts here.

Anyone have a service manual or parts numbers pdf or something I could download for more research?

ur best bet in 350K would be a 95 - 97 model mini (unreg) or maybe of a higher model if registered.

Jimny being of a higher model will cost u much more...

yesterday got rid of the CNG, installed a free flow air filter, and now my machine is ready to do some serious butt kicking !!

@alizzz79...... the front wheels used to go in the air..

bro do u have CNG installed? if so then u need to use more harder springs at the back...get slightly thicker springs with slight more length may be quarter of an inch. additionaly air pressure in rear tyres to be kept 29 psi front 25 psi.
This i am sure will solve the problem of lifting of front wheels.
