@gooner14 .. well bro .. i dnt know the price range over there but in karachi u can get around 350k - 400k automatic version ... well maintanace is as normal .. abit costly but last long for sure ... well its a worth buying if u r luking something in this price range ... comparing to locals ( alto mehran ) .. seating is like 3 adults ... other smooth ride ... no issue to jumps, bumpy roads, off roading ... its worth for sure ....

I just bought it, and feels like its not at its best.

So, to improve overall performance, tuning, and i have a doubt that its not getting into top gear? To be on clear side, its an auto and it starts with 1st gear, changes into 2nd gear when reach 20 or 30, and then it goes into 3rd ... and keeps on shouting and never cools down,

so i need to show it to someone who is expert in this ride.

@saadmalik88 ... 2003 will be like 5 lakh around ... and the same shape it still going on ... except that there is a duke version ( which has hummer kind of grills in front ) and 2001 model is the one with 4 round lites .... prices varies frm model to model and condtition ....

Maximum speed is good enough, touched 120 on Mai-Kolachi by pass ... and usually 80 to 100 on open roads

Could have gone more but bikers jiggling around.

But it "SOUNDS" like i need to put a 4th gear or something

@autobahn .. auto had 3 gear only bro .. its fine no issue just enjoy ,, sound that comes is of turbo ... so no issue ... : )

@rozzzzz ... well auto gives 8- 9km per litre with ac and manual gives 11km per lite with ac in city ( karachi ) ... engine is 660cc dohc intercooler turbo 20 value and 660cc sohc 16 value ... 4wd is available in every model ....

Oh Cool then.

Its just that i had a 2003 model mini before SOHC engine auto turbo ...

it didn't made much of sounds plus it ran quite smooth.... but the one i have now is not so free. kinda chocked to something.

But just in case, do you know someone to who i can show this ride ? just to clear all my doubts

@rozzzz well milage depands on engine condition and maintaince of the car ... i heard ppl saying that its not giving above 6 - 7km per litre the main reason behind this is the maintaince .. its an efi ride u need to get things check and replace as per time bcuz everything is controled computerized ... that y ppl are disappointed ....

@rozzz fuel consumption for automatic vehicles depend on how u accelerate... if u are too hard on the throttle its fuel average goes down... i ve bought mini few months back.. in the begining i used to drive it aggressivly... and was disappointed with its fuel consumption, was like 8-9 kms per litre.... later i came to know how to get the best out of it... u just need to accelerate it calmly... at da speed of 60-70 km/h it gives the best average. now i m taking 11 kms/litre with A.C in karachi city...
and yeah good news for petrol users... the price has dropped to Rs. 50.53.
