@shahab91 .. its located under the front passenger seat (front left wheel ke pechay) ... i have take it out as i have dne free flow in my mini .. hope this pic mite be helpful for ya .. but it doesnt have cat convertor when i clicked it ... all fine u asking abt it ?

I have recently sold of my car. I am looking for a Pajero Mini. (

: 1998 -2000 ,
Registration
:Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar;
Trnsamission
: Manual dont mind Auto either.) I would appreciate if someone can tell me about the current prices for these models in the market. If you have seen a good condition pajero mini do let me know.

By the way really good effort on this forum. I found it very helpful. I read all the posts in last few days. I just couldnt find one thing or might have missed it. It would be appreciated if someone can mention it again. I am based in Islamabad and belong to Peshawar so i need to know:

Asalaam O Alaikum to all the Pajero Mini Fans,

I was going through the forums when i came across this thread and its nice to see so many unique mini pajero's. Ive had mine for the last 2 yrs and let me tell you its one heck of a ride. Ive taken this little jeep all over pakistan and it has never disappointed me in the least. I have a 1997 model with the turbo option and a manual gearshift. Im uploading a couple of pics for you all to see what it looks like.

I hope u like my jeep and im looking forward to hearing from all of you. I would love to talk to the real enthusiasts and adventurers.

Nice to see you there. It was pleasure meeting U on the event & talking to U regarding the Junior’s experience, it seems to be very rare!

I am an emerging fan of mini since I saw desertdevil performing on his mini, it’s so quiet (unlike the big 4x4 fellows

) and I hardly noticed any wheel spin, no doubt about the driving skills of Mr. Asad. Anyways let me put the most common question of this thread

, Now I am also looking for a post 97 Mini (in mint condition & reasonable mileage) to be used @ home (within city) & off-course should be able to participate in IJC events

. How much mileage should I be looking for to stay trouble free & min visits to the mechanic. It estimated Maintenance cost, parts & mechanic availability in Isloo?

By doing some research in last 24-48Hrs, I found junior & manual trans as very rare variants. I might be able to locate a 660cc Turbo or Non-Turbo with auto, which one is better & recommended?

I have no plans to install CNG or get 1 which is ruined by CNG fittings. Looking forward for value-able advice.

it was great talking to u today , on a second thought i would recommend you to go for
Turbo Auto Mini
since its more common and parts will be more easy to get than junior in coming years ,and go for a newer model , asad bhai Mini is for sale i guess , u can check with him.

friends here on this forum will help u with the technical side of the mini , as they r more conversant with the market , i bought my junior straight away wish u best of luck for ur mini hunt , and dont forget to change the tyres , most of the mini users r using lower profile tyres.

@Kdogar mine is a auto junior , Maximum i speed i can get on highways is 140 , but i donnt push it that hard , as the RPM gets too high and it gets too noisy , i prefer driving it on 90/ or maximum 100

@Laprwah, thanks a lot for the warm welcome. I have started exploring options & will need consistant feedback from your side & other club members. My today's query is what should be looked inn while short listing a mini? How to check its Turbo if its working fine or malfunctioning? If test drive is an option than what kind of sounds & response are suspicous?

Yesterday I came across a black 96 Non Turbo Mini, It was showing 100k on the dial, it was re-painted. Demand was 350k which to me sounds high for that Model which is not in original condition. Hunt continues, no hurries & keeping in view its upcoming assignments of Mini, I am looking for a real Clean ride with min issues!

@Basharatu bro simply Go for the newer model , i am kinda layman when it comes to technical side , but friends here r good at it , the mini u saw other day is definitly not worth considering , and even the price is high if it is repainted , a clean n newer car will payback in terms of time and lesser maintainance costs in longer run

@ Laparwah...... thanks bro for your very kind words....have sold my mini last week and since then am in a depression.lol. You saw me on ijc offroad event and i was just standing on the side with the big stupid suv that couldnt be taken on Devil's back , seriously felt handicapped.

@Bashartu..... bro there is a bit of difference in suspension also between mini's. Models above 98 with square lights are about an inch higher then the one with round lights. This is where offroading capability enhances. Not to mention that tyres that you saw on mine and Laparwah are high profile and are ideal for obstacle climbing.
