I have 92 Pajero, three Door 2500cc I bought it in 2001- I am comfortable with it, Traveled almost hundred thousand km.. mostly off-road. still the engine is 90% I change the oils well in time proper greasing is always done... when ever it goes to the clinic I stay there, don't leave it upon drivers or mechanics, Alhamdolillah never stoped any where for repairs or break down.... visited almost all the AJK, Biltistan, Swat etc. what ever you have it should be maintained. I would love to buy Wrangler, or Land Rover but very good ones.... for resto hobby, I use to keep on working with Army vehicles, once I had willy, now have Mutt, trying to make Rocky in very near future... this is all what I know.... I will never change Pajero with Prado, as I had one in 2009, I was not happy with it.

it is very big and heavy...

secondly the major issue is vehicle breakdown or other problems, it can be with any one..... Salute to Pajero I am in love with it, it takes me any where I want.

helloo experts! can u guys tell me how much should 98(as per custom papers) 2.8 d pajero should cost...condition is OK everything works though....it was custom auctioned in 2008 and still un registered...registration will cost 230k .....any guidance?

dear it would cost around 14-18 lacs... A good one.... I dont recommend 2.8d 98 pajero...

Sorry for opening an old thread, but infact this will be helping me a lot for selection between Pajero and Prado in near future Insha Allah. Before, I was confused. Now, my vote also goes to pajero, specially, the second GEN.

Both have their pros and cons.... But in the given price difference pajero can do pretty much all same in half the price in style.

I have been to junkyard when I was in school and Alhamdulillah most of my friends are in this business which also includes half cuts (front shows) and now a days one of my friend is in the import business of trucks front cut. I have been to Peshawar shoba market a lot of time also where my cousin use to import engines.With my experience of Karachi Shair Shah market and Peshawar Shoba market and also been the owner of both Toyota and Mitsubishi 4x4's in different times, I am of a conclusion that Toyota is like a *****, what ever you do with them, they keep on going but on the other hand Mitsubishi Pajero is like a GF, if you try any experiment on her, she will give you the lesson of your life. Land cruiser will give you a rough ride whereas Pajero comfort is like a car, that is the only advantage.....I shared pictures of my friends Pajero 2001 on Pakwheels for sale but even a single call is yet to be received...

anyone who want to know the difference between parado or pajero first drive both of them and check the comfort and power ... and then decide by there self .. in my opinion in comfort there is no comparison of pajero .. and the power of pajero 4M40 turbo charged is awesome.
