I know how frustrating it is to get everything done (or so you think) and still get a few more irritants to be taken care of. Perhaps my overall calm nature and patience has a lot to do here that I haven't got to the breaking point--yet. At the moment I'm out of financial resources to get the tires changed, they range between 58,000 (Yokohama, Chinese made) and 115,000 (Continental made in Malaysia). The jeep runs beautifully without any disturbance engine wise, got an old puncture resurfaced yesterday, and while the tire was out for the puncture to be mended, I noticed a lot of oil/grease around the left axle. Immediately took a picture and sent it to my project manager, who in turn forward that to the suspension works guy, who has diagnosed a ruptured boot, which needs replacement.
Restoration work isn't for the short tempered or impatient guys, these are inbuilt qualities and it is very hard not to react to things which go against your personality.
The only major irritant left now are the broken dashboard air vents, and the doors inner handles. My guy says he can get them repaired, I'm of the opinion that we should find them at Shershah or get them from eBay. Let's see who wins.
