Even if it is priced at 4m with a 2.4 engine, in my opinion it will be a better choice than an Audi. Why?

It will be a simple car compared to the A3, so fewer things can go wrong. To make up for its measly 1.8 engine, the Audi uses turbochargers. That alone will cause many trips to the dealership, who will suck your wallet dry; owner's don't often don't know the precautions for owning a turbo car.

A Suzuki sedan, while not exactly cheap to maintain, is also quite reliable (speaking from experience with a Baleno we had).

MB, BMW, and Audi owners can also tell you how expensive they are to maintain in Pakistan. Owner's then just decide to change the oil and filter, increasing the maintenance cost for the next buyer exponentially.

Don't tell me that German car owners can easily afford to maintain their upkeep. The number of abused MB's and BMW's I see frequently say otherwise. There is a rusted, abused, and noisy W140 even in my own street. When buying a luxury car, be prepared to buy twice the car.

how come u say one of the best german car with 1.8 turbocharged engine will give many trips to dealership? i have two Audi A4 n A3....A3 just recently got both with 1.8TFSI engine.....A3 sedan is 2014 world car of the year n from last 1.5 years A4 went to dealer 3 times n tht too for services/inpesction only......plz dont compare with overpriced accord/camry as its not worth in 10m compare to Audi prices....if u know how to maintain the german cars it will always last long.....my grandfather E250 merc from last 4 years is still in top notch conditioned which has done over 50k km with zero problem......btw suzuki kizashi crap price is not 4m...its expected to be close around 6m coz of higher custom duty of 2400cc engine

i am no car expert, but in a automobile industry like pakistan, no onw is going to buy it, NO ONE. not even in wildest dreams.

pakistan needs car similar to europe and japan, which are easy to pocket, parking and road friendly. sedan is not even priority of 80% of paksitani customers.

even if i have a money i would opt for a Mark X instead of Shitzuki

One thing is for certain: a "Shitzuki" is known to last at least 320k km (and counting), even when treated like dirt. I would like to see an Audi or Mark X do that

How is a turbo related to more trips to dealerships? Audi doesn't slap kaabli turbines at the local ustaad g shop & scream Go Baby Go!

Because people don't know that they have to idle down a hot turbo. Most people here would drive an Audi like you are supposed to drive an Audi. After abusing the cr@p out of it, they would just go home, hit the limiter in neutral, and just shut it down. I have actually witnessed this. Best way to kill your turbo.

Audis have water/coolant cooled turbo housings. I wouldn't bother much.
P.S It's my perception that those who can afford audis, drive with more etiquette than other boosted honda/toyota/charade boys out here.

I have 2L TSI turbocharged EA888 engine in my VW.. which is almost exactly same in Audi 2.0 A3.. well never told by Audi/VW to park and idle for few minutes. Never read in user manual.

It costed pak suzuki 45lac to import it and they are planning to sell it around the 50lac mark

:o and even more at PakSuzuki. what the ..... were they thinking?. the SX4 has been discontinued but still looks fresh after 7 years and will be perfect for the Pak market or anywhere. the price too will be affordable even by Pak market standards and they don't release it there. WHY?...

Seriously when I search kizashi on google it says discontinued in 2009 what are they thinking pricing it at near c class 3 series or even a Audi A3.

Huawei and qmobiles reason for success is that they have left samsung and iPhone to fight in that segment.

Suzuki has a whole lot more potential God knows what kind of butt holes are sitting and planning at paksuzuki!!!

you have a valid point here. the City is a far superior car to the SX4 though i prefer the SX4 over the City anyday but that's my choice and i'm in a minority on this here. if i defend the SX4 over the City in a group of motorheads i get chewed out fast. the old Swift D'Zire is one ugly looking car and the Cultus us much better looking so forget about it whereas the new DZ'ire is easier on the eye. well, hopefully one day things will get going in your neck of the woods....

I think we're mistaken by thinking that paksuzuki actually wants to sell this car. They aren't spending anything on it so won't matter if it sells or not. Its just an import.

Think of it as the Accord and Camry of PakSuzuki. In Pakistan, those cars at 1 crore PKR aren't being sold either. This may help up Suzuki's perception in the mind's of people and also help PakSuzuki look good on official papers offering "latest" technology, while they continue to sell Mehran, Cultus and Bolan(carry).
