well Suzuki had a 2.4 L VVTI with AWD or FWD in global market for this discontinued Kizashi. I think it might be same

do they think we are idiots, they can shove this up their rear end. with a 55 lac price tag and you can be sure of no parts support after a few years

People around the world love their country, Maruti Suzuki is considered a local brand in India, And it provides quality for the money paid aswell. Here Liana and City are classes apart. People in pakistan dont know what quality cars and how do they feel to be in them. The 660cc shashka is good but spare parts avalibility is a question mark. Till date Vitz only has been able to establish as used car. and is the reason Paksuzuki launched Swift.

Since they have no value in the bigger car segment Ciaz again would be a disaster, as i said earlier they need to set up a line up as

-Suzuki Alto 800 (old shape or new shape) or else drop down WagonR VX and make it as a 800cc car.
-Suzuki Celerio
-Swift 1000
-Swift 1200/1300
-Swift Dzire (new Shape)
-Every van and pickup
-Localize APV or bring in a 7 seater car within the range of Honda City Aspire/Corolla Gli AT

I think ciaz still has the chance of moderate success since it seems good enough, below is what my suggestion for lineup of Pak suzuki :

-Suzuki Alto 800
-Suzuki Alto K1000
-Suzuki Celerio
-Swift K1200 New shape
-Swift Dzire (new Shape) K1200
-Ciaz with 1200-1300 engine with auto option
-Every van and pickup

Since Honda city is struggling against xli / gli I still believe sx4 or ciaz have no chance.
In India Swift dzire is filling the same gap as our cultus does. In India at balenos launch they didn't discontinue esteem (margalla) and paksuzuki at swifts launch didn't discontinue cultus. Esteem was replaced by swift dzire to continue the swift sedan. And sx4 replaced baleno/liana

A car with the k12b engine is what is really needed. a sedan for the middle class

they can launch it with lower displacement engine .. 1.6 , 1.8 ltr and the price will drop to equivalent or comparable to local Civic
then it might have a chance
