1000cc Vs 1300cc OK, but wot bout the millage
I am currently using a 2004 1000cc Vitz, will not go in the details of my absolutely wonderful experience, but the millage is awesome. In city it delivers 12km/L and highway 18km/L(if u maintain around 90km/H to 105km/H). I am sure that 1328cc engine of swift will not deliver this millage. And wots the point in giving 1328cc Y is it not 1296cc or 1299cc.
In Punjab this extra 29cc will take the car to the next tax bracket.
As far as the Suzuki Waraunty goes we know how pethetic after sale service Suzuki Dealerships deliver so this point is not very convincing.
I am sure it will be launched in access of 1 Million rupee range, and will be basic. I am sure only top of the line models will have ABS. And Dual Airbags will not be seen in any model forget bout the restraint seat belts.
As far as Toyota engines are concerned, Toyota makes bullet proof engines. The toyota Petrol engines, specialy the D4Z series are good for 500,000 kms, which I Suzuki might not be able to achieve. So even if U buy a Vitz which has done 35000 kms, it is still good for 400,000 kms.
So whether U buy a Vitz or a JDM Swift(JDM Swift 1.2 will cost you 1.1 million delivered in Pakistan) it will be much better than a Pakistan assembled Swift and that too assembled by Pak Suzuki who have a bad Quality Control reputation and to top that a not up to the mark 3S Dealers.
