That means, if I press that black knob now, and begin driving, the car will show me the current mileage done, until and unless I don't press that black knob again to reset the meter?

Honestly, I don't have a Wagon R neither have I driven one.

What I can tell you- some cars show instant fuel average ( depending on throttle ) and average fuel consumption ( more or less like median )

You can always reset the average fuel average -.those figures are accumulated after many km of driving.

This is from the first day I drove the car back from the showroom in Sheikhupura, 60km from Lahore. The car behaved perfectly at 120km speed, with stock tyres. (I received a lot of criticism for this harkat also :p, from members with a different point of view on engine break-in)

Bro rpm is between 3k and 4k it means that you were driving car on 4th gear at that moment

Yes that is security alarm but immobilizer works coupled with alarm, if you try opening the car with anyother key or means other than original key car will start buzzing horn

I will share again my car mileage in karachi city tomorrow, very first mileage i got was 11.45 km/l, then i got 14.35km/l both are for 100+ km distance.

fuel with lead is kinda old school now. Almost every pump in Pakistan supplies unleaded.

Some engines require leaded fuel, just the way some cars require hi-octane.

When I first drove my car, the fuel meter was blinking on the last bar, and it showed 13.1 KM. I asked the dealer and he said that you could only travel 13 KM with the amount of fuel available. I then drove the car to a nearby Shell Petrol pump and topped up the fuel tank, and when I started the car again, the same meter which was previously showing 13.1 KM was then showing 145 KM. If I take your words that it showed the mileage, how come it was possible that the car travelled from 13.1 KM to 145 KM in no time, when infact, the distance between the showroom to petrol pump was hardly 300 M. Still Confused.

Sir, better consult the owner's manual. My wagon R either doesnt have this setting, or I dont know how to get to it :p. It would be a good feature for all of us.

Normal Octane- supposed to be 87 RON. Every pump delivers different RON's.
Hi-Octane- 91 RON. Some pumps sell normal petrol i.e 87 RON as Hi-Octane as well, LOL.

I just confirmed from PSO ,that Premium (normal fuel) -->87 Octane number and Hi-Octane is having 97-Octane number

What better one can get in around 11lakhs these days, its 2010, 37k on the clock with the features what pakistani manufacturers would never offer here, it has got sofa seats, abs etc etc and in here vx vxl still on the same path with n without ac .. thats crap

Good for you faysal. I am sure there are many options in 11 lakh, including a 2007 altis with auto transmission and sunroof, or a fully loaded civic/lancer with sunroof (which would be my favorite), but at the end of the day, every person has his own priority and some people here preferred the wagon R, according to their own priorities.

Having said that, I wish every motorist safety and driving pleasure with however he spends his 11 lakh, including those who bought racing bikes

You are sayn rite altis is a good option but you would get that a lil bit old model like 07 or civic is nice too but this car is perfect for people who wants better fuel consumption, i use to have altis 08 cruisetronic and that only gives 8 9 per lite ,if we go like that, yes there are way better option than this one. But like i said who wants a small family , this is a perfect option.

Exactly my point, perfect is a relative term. My idea of a perfect, economical car for a small family may be different from urs, so let's appreciate the difference and appreciate what each of us has got.

What else better thn jdm car if we compare pak suzuki wagon R whuch is brand new car rather jdm which is already used and buyer doesnt know how much it is used or is it accidented , at least we owners are tension free as we got brand new car
