What do you guys think is the fate of WagonR in Pakistan? We have seen Liana and Swift; you will compare the fate of wagonR with Liana/Swift or Cultus.

In my opinion, the fate of WagonR ill be with Liana in Pakistan. The reason behind this opinion is that person who has Rs.1.1Million will go for a Brand of Toyota or Honda used 6-7 years back model sedan car and not for a new test car because he will never want to block his money on a non-famous car with "S" mark.

I have see many WagonR's on road and all with one big issue that th car's silencer seems more visible and the road clearance on the driver's side is no upto the mark.

Can't about that brother they should launched the small 660cc 800cc small cars first but now they will not launch new cars for next 2 or 3 year

I see your point here but the problem is that used car is not insured neither has any sort of warranty. this is also my main consideration. i have already posted a thread on pakwheels but totally unable to make a decision. my company has paid me certain amount in which i have to either rent out a car or use my own car. i have a lot of travelling in the field mainly going to chiniot, toba tek singh, and jhang from faisalabad.

i am thinking to buy wagonR but i hate its shape. i have driven it about 100 km so like its drive and fuel economy. on the other hand i can buy 2012 swift in this price tag but the problem again is the fuel cost and maintenance cost this old car would incur on the roads i have to travel. plus insurance of the car wont be poosible and no warranty as well so if any thing goes wrong its all on me. I cannot buy Honda City because i have to drive my car in the field. and lastly i can even buy Corrola Gli 2010-2012 model if i stretch my budget but again the problems with security, insurance, and warranty forbid me take that decision.

So wagon R seems like quite reasonable and economical option to me in this amount of money given the other considerations i have mentioned above. similar be the case with many fellow citizens i guess.

Sedan launch is more of a marketing tactics thats include image building of suzuki in market. Next 1000 cc car will be going to assemble here with more localized parts. All new 1000 cc will have k series engine which is best for fuel efficiency, suzuki doesnt have 800cc modern engines.

yes you are right it is one of the best car mechanically and also one of the ugliest shape wise PS has introduced

Its nt ugly shape the problem is that our eyes r nt familiar with tall body car. Its a hi selling brand in other countries

its shape is like wagon. its rear is very similar to suzuki carry daba i think its called suzuki bolan. if you are happy with the shape than enjoy its beautiful ride

Sir front shape is totally acceptable.Rear is the problem.Once i was observing wagonr R from rear and i could see complete c.v/drive shaft,yes complete drive shaft,like the bumper was behaving like mini skirt,just like civic 2005.Gives very poor looks from rear.

Every body has his own view. Due to hi body it is more spacious and very easy to enter and exit

U r totally wrong my dear. Wagon r is nt a new car in the world. Its jst new in pak market. A hi selling brand in other countries like japan Indonesia india etc. Among top five selling car in these countries. With a powerful and fuel efficient kb 10 engine. Look at the pama figures more than 1700 units sold in only 8 months of 2014. And more than 400+ units sold in jan 2015. Thats a great selling ratio for a new car in pak market. U said toyota and honda old model should be preferred over wagn r. My dear u must know new is new and old is old. More than 5 years used car must hv some problem in it. Only in pak people buy old cars to save money bt after that they spend lot of on it. In other countries people loves to buy new one. I m as owner of this vehicle is fully satisfied from it. Its drive give ne a pleasure as i m driving a big car.

Guys i have a hunch that wagonR will do reasonably good in future, much like alto. the problem with liana i heard was its suspension, expensive parts and near to city and corolla price. which let liana down in no time. swift on the other hand is doing good and not a flop car in my opinion. only consideration is its mileage. so wagon R avoids both of these flaws. thats why i think people will get used to its shape or pak suzuki will do some facelift according to pak market which will help lift the car sales.

Body kit is very expensive but Wagon R looks really cool with complete body kit, just saw today Wagon R with complete body kit and by no mean anyone can say its looks ugly with body kit!
