bro it's not kamal wagonr gives v high average at 3000rpm and in 5th gear while keeping speed less than 100.... it gave me 28km/l with no ac in winters and now it gives 21.5 with ac bcz on motorway i sometimes go to 120.... MashaAllah and Alhamdulillah it's the king of average

it's not a hybrid but in fifth gear it's consumption is v v v less with speed less than 100... if u own wagonR then try to drive on long route in fifth gear with speed less than 100 at 3000rpm and you will see it for yourself ..... it's engine is really really v fuel efficient mashaAllah

I will tomorrow be going for the 5K inspection and will get the engine oil and filter replaced,engine coolant, brake fluid and battery solution refilled. Today, I was skimming thru the Wagon R owners manual, where it recommended gear oil change at every 40K inspection, and also suggested the way of checking gear oil level, but earnestly speaking, I couldn’t really understand the way of checking gear oil level. Can any respected member elaborate, preferably with pics, the procedure of checking/refilling gear oil and draining out the used engine oil to refill with new one? Thanks in advance.

no need to change coolant or brake fluid... engine coolant has v long life upto 20000km or 2 years you just have to add some if level is reaching minimum and brake fluid should onbe changed if it's dark in color else on 20000km or after 2 years ... see manual for guidance ...
and bro gear oil level cannot be checked yourself as it's under the car and special wrench is required to open the nut... two nuts are the filler and drain ... filler is on side and drain is exactly under the oil pan

engine oil drain nut is opened and when level drops then filter is opened... filter is on lower left side of engine while looking at engine bay... drain nut is under engine exactly in middle

and brake fluid should not decrease it's level this soon please do get it checked for any leaks etc... as mine is full and odo is 5055km

Calculation is correct as i filled the tank n set odo to zero n on return same pump n tank fill. Also i used to have only 1 pump near my home of shell. In city its giving 15+ n thats great

My car gives 15km/l in city without A/C. Drops down to 12-13 with 25% A/C. After reading claims of 16km/l and 17km/l with A/C in city by members on this thread, I've started to worry a little. Car has done 3800km only. RPM remains between 2500-3000 between gear changes. Tyre pressure is 36psi. Fuel is always refilled from a company operated Total pump.

tyre should Be less then 30 PSI

How will this help? Recommended pressure is 36. Pressure drops down to 30-32 in a few days. I get it checked every two weeks. So technically, pressure remains around 30 most of the time.
