AOA. bro can u tell me then what is the best choice for engine and gear oil kindly tell me the compay and specs which should be used for engine and gear oil i also have changed to ps oils but yes i also notices chages in engine and gear performance so i wanted to change it

Zic A+/Total Quartz 9000/Kixx Neo for engine oil. Get which ever you get easily.

145/80R13 suzuki Wagon R PAK

Their suspensions are also tuned differently - if Pak Suzuki gives the same tune of suspension with wider tires, people will complain about lack of ground clearance, turning radius, and hard suspension.

Get Zic A+ then. Its almost same as 0w20. You can get Amsoil 0w20 but i guess it will be pretty expensive.

i think zic A+ is best for our mixer environments of hot and cold... like you go to murree and stay there for a week you need relatively thin oil there and then you come back to rawalpindi or lahore then you need relatively thick oil... so i think 5w30 will do best for both weathers

Shell Helix Ultra is 5w40 so highly not recommended. Runing viscosity will be nearly same as 10w40. You live in colder area so get Zic A+ as uts runing viscosity will be on thinner side.

Yes its a great oil. Cousin is using this oil in his car for a long time. His car has clocked 25k KMs and still runing smooth. And that car has never seen the face of 3S workshop
He got the car from Suzuki and never went back.

Yes 5w30 would do best if you also travel in hotter areas. Else 5w20 is perfectly fine.

how the outside temp affects oil inside engine? once reached optimum temperature the engine runs on same temp both in summer or winter, no? That is what my understanding is. Pl correct me if I am wrong.

Exactly bro. This is also what i read on Pakwheels some days ago. There are many misconceptions in this thing. That is why I made a separate thread about suggestions for Engine oil but very less people bothered to reply. I discussed this temperature thing with some people and they said engine optimizes a particular temperature but still outside temperature makes diff. Khair, to be on safer side we should also consider outside temperature.

IMHO outside temperature may come into play only at below freezing points during cold start and there too once it attain optimum temp then it should be running fine. In summers the cold start issue is also not there then y this debate of thick and thin oil. we need to clear our concepts. Lets tag @xulfiqar @2c and @capsat to guide us.

Personally I have clocked 50k kms on my corolla using 20w50 Toyota motor oil. All is well ma sha Allah. Initially when i got that car was in a fix about this thin oil n thick oil n esp in winters. I was guided by @2c and gave examples of ppl running 20w50 in below freezing temp of canada. The other reason I am sticking to toyota oil from dealership is at least it is not fake, as market is flooded with fake oils.

Still we need a good tutorial discussion on this to clear our concepts and misconceptions.

The new model shell is the same. Current owners can get face lift by changing hood, lights, front girll n bumper. Interior is also the same with addition of Auto tranny.

Considering PS's history, I doubt that model would be coming here any time soon. However, PS should very seriously consider it so that those who prefer auto tranny have an option, plus this one's front looks much better than that of the one being sold here.
