Brake noise is normal and can appear in any car. Even my Cultus brakes cry although pads are new.
Wind noise is due to lack of proper insulation. My Cultus 2007 is so much noisy (engine and wind noise combined) i would have to speak louder when car is running above 90 km/h.
Overall V2 is better than WR. The only thing FAW lacks is proper advertising and solid investment.
Personally if i have to choose between the two i wil go for Wagon R despite of all its short comings (lack of rear door power windows, thin tires, vibrations in brand new car due to bad quality tires, expensive addons) . The reason would be easy availability of parts, skilled personnels, resale, reliability, fuel economy etc. In fact my next car is gonna WR.

Brother I am not saying v2 is a bad car infact the car car v2 is based on is my personal favourite,all I am saying is that a brand new car should not have such issues because it is very disappointing and annoying and spoils the fun and v2 is a 1300cc hatchback and it should be compared with swift which is also a 1300 cc hatchback .Wagon r falls in a different category and it sure is a better car unlike other Suzuki cars offered by pak Suzuki in Pakistan

i think after spending one million you dont have complete loded feature in VXL model. no rear power windows, no tool kit, no comfortable seats, vibration on ideal mood, no ABS, No Air Bags, NO EBD, NO steel Alloy Wheel, Oldest design of Door Handle like Suzuki Mehran, loos road grip, no head light adjustment, dirty body style,................ and much more its great jock From Pak Suzuki with customer aginst one million,

Haha brother it all depends on what u need and I have the VXR Wagon r because I need a
practical car that would be trouble free and easy to maintain and please stop enforcing ur opinion because u have repeated the same thing again and again.Take this comparison where it belongs that is Suzuki swift owners club

V2 is greatest car of Pakistan. Please stop this and enjoy your V2 we are Happy with oldest shape, No Air bags and ABS and other feathers.

V2 is a good car in reasonable price range but can only be compared with Suzuki Swift which is no doubt far better than its Chinese counterpart despite the fact that it's overpriced and registration + annual token taxes are more being 1328cc car but offers both quality and reliability that is why V2 can't make it market till date. Before purchasing Wagon R I was inclined towards V2 but due to its resale and after sale availability of parts opted for Wagon R though at that time Wagon R sales were also very low but thanks to Suzuki marketing strategies I can see a alot of Wagon Rs here on Peshawar roads which I hope will increase more as the time passes however not a single V2 I have seen which is a clear sign of its uncertain future. Rest all depends upon one's personal likes and dislikes and no doubt his budget whether he can afford to risk his hard earned money or not ...

No car is prefect from factory one who buys the car customises for his/her liking.
Being said that in my.opnion no car is superior to another its how owner deals with it. A simple example drive a khatam reborn and dont judge to the conclusion all hondas are like this or drive a neglected alto and be like all altos are like this same goes for v2 and wagon r.

Wagon R sales from April to June 2014 jumped sharply to 2,208 units. However, July 2014 onwards, its sales plunged severely. From 714 units in July, production dropped to 579 in August, 427 units in September, 88 in October, and to a meagre 17 in November.
Pak Suzuki revised the prices of all its models including Wagon R. In its cheapest variant, the price was revised downwards by Rs50,000 to Rs849,000 (-5.6%). In the other variant, prices were slashed Rs90,000, bringing one down to Rs959,000 (-8.56%) and another to Rs999,000 (-8.25%).

Hey, guys! Sorry to distract from the mission critical topic of V2 vs WR, but I hear a very low clicking sound when I turn the AC fan on. This increases as I increase the speed. Not in loudness but frequency. Any ideas?

BTW, I didn't even know there was a new company in Pakistan called Al-Haj FAW. I read newspapers online, and have never seen a billboard or anything. After this discussion might consider it, but will wait a little. Companies with names like Al-Haj seem to not really take marketing seriously. I'm myself a haji BTW, so nothing against that.

And u will find that w.r is going high and high.sales and production figures are attached for ur kind information. 2 questions. my car is driven 420 km
1; when my car is washed from service station or at home some water goes inside the car that is not in the car bit at the ribbers etc the rubbers protects it from going in. the places are the door and trunk
2; from the past two days when i start the car and go out the first 2 times when i apply brakes it makes a sound like crsh crsh. can it be due to the fact that these 2 days i washed my car the got out fora drive and some water maybe in the brake pads etc? i will check tomorrow morning as well coz i aint gonna wash the car today
one more thing my tank is almost finished the last bar is showing but not blinking till now does that the reserve is not started till now. when in reserve then blonking starts?

It's like "Indus" which does not take car security seriously. They will charge you millions but won't bother to provide a simple immobilizer.

Plz share source ? if its true then its due to price decreasing effect that is natural, it was totally flopped so with much more advertising and decreasing the price they could not achieve target sale up till now, main reason is that same wagon R with ABS, EBD , Air bags, comfortable seats ..... price is about 450000 PKR , at same time with out any technology its about 1 million in pakistan. what a Jock with Pakistani awam..

My dear 2014 was its first year of launching. A vehicle takes one year atleast to create awareness in ppls. Its does nt mean that it was flop. Now u can see w.r easily on road. My dear this model of w.r is running successfully in different countries like Indonesia, india etc. And for ur kind information it is in top selling cars in indian market where a lot of competition and there a lot of better quality cars r present than v2. Please my dear communicate ur thinking and plz dont force others to accept ur all thinking. We r nt participating any debate or fighting here. And i took that figures from pama website.
