Did you try bigger tyres? does it reduce wobbling?

Sir, I spent almost 1.25 million on Wagon R VXL including 94K Jumbo Package, so wasn't in that position to spend more on bigger tires, as showroom guy told me suspension warranty would be void as soon as I went for bigger tires.

Got these crashed pictures from a friend, as per his information the car was in speed when it hit the truck. Location is: super highway Khi-Hyd track. The person driving the car lost his life. Pray that the Almighty grant him in his higher places.

Seems the Wagon R driver wanted to overtake when all of a sudden, a truck from front tried overtaking too, and being in speed, the Wagon R driver couldn't stop the car and hit the back of truck.

Approximately 20K for rear power windows max but this is not the main issue. It attracts much more luxury taxes which eventually adds multiple times in the overall price of the car making it much more expensive. This is what I came to know about the reason.

Many japanese cars like Move or nissan Dayz also wobble when on high speeds - its related to the shape of the car. Just drive carefully and dont take sharp turns these are not ur racing cars.

Regarding wagon r and cultus....used both....cultus is old platform and crappy with noisy engine and zero refinement....cultus shape is the only good thing.

The indonesian wagon r has no rear power windows and pak suzuki just imports and assemble the car kit here and are lazy to add anything of their own.

hahhaha ! nahi ahmad bhai, actuly thing is a year back he used to be one of the fan of wagon r and when he bought cultus his oppinion got totally changed.its natural that whatever car you own you like it no matter if its a mehran cultus or even a bike. but one should not be biased specialy when one is a senior member and knows about car. wagonr have its own drawback but calling its a dabba and what not is totally wrong. i have kept 3 cultus from 2006 to 2013 and iam well known about its cons and pros. this is a open forum everyone have right to say whatever he/she likes.
but my point is when one is already biased so he she should not call others biased too.
i own a mehran i know its pros and cons but when ever anyone describe its cons to me i dont get offended and never get biased too by telling everyone its hand made pros. iam not pointing saboor bhai only but even those are wrong which praise wr too much because its not a best choice . but certainly not a bad too.

I had a cultus year back too 2008 model and you should have checked the post I made about my first impression about wr after test drive and that was when I didnt have cultus anyway you should have been in cultus whatapps group I have my self said many times that cultus have poor ac and noisy cabin and 1 million for both cultus and wr is not justified anyway what ever rocks your boat in the end

When I got my wagon r back in December it did wobble at around 100km/h. On next day I did wheel alignment and since then have not experienced any wobble up to 150 km/h...and yes I'm still using stock tyres

On 07.4.2016. I made a trip on my waggy for abt 300 km. It was a windy day. I feel wind pressure on cabin bt nt in danger range. I drove it on speed of 120. Ys its good to keep low speed on high wind bt if u r good driver u can easily handle it. And dont worry w.r will nt rol ovr due to wind [emoji41]

You have made right choice. In this range wagonR will not disappoint you. Buying brand new car one keep in mind its resale comfort fuel economy availability of parts and performance and wagonR meets all above prerequisites. But remember it's small hatchback and like all other hatchbacks it has certain limitations hence you can't compare it with xli or Honda city.

Bhai year ka her din windy nahi hota, WR will serve you best for 340 days an year, in rest 25 days windy days of an year, drive it in lower speed and you will be just fine.

Why people are forgetting about its excellent fuel economy, i know that petrol is very affordable now a days, I have kept WR for 26000 kms approx, if i avg it WR given me 15km/l, 25000/15 = 1666.66 liters of petrol, if i had bought cultus, it would have given me max 12 km/l, 25000/12 = 2083. If i take Rs 75/liter as petrol price, i know it is around 65 these days but i even filled it when it was Rs 113/liter, so i am taking Rs75/liter as average.

1666.66 * 75 = 124999.5
2083 * 75 = 156250

In 2 years I have easily saved Rs 31,250/- in fuel prices, if I run it like 60,000 kms, i would have saved Rs 90k.

That explains about general wind pressure on motorway however what about the most serious wobble problem of a car which occurs when on motorway a high speed bus crosses it from behind or car itself crosses a high speed bus. At that time car is hit by a powerful air burst from bus and car usually wobble/pushed or pulled a bit. I know it happens to every car but the question is how does Wagon R behave as compared to other cars at that time.
I had a Vitz 2012 and a Cuore before that. In vitz 2012 model this effect was almost non existing however when I had Cuore, i used to even counter steer my car sightly and in Mehran its even worse. Can you please tell me how does Wagon R compare to Cuore and Mehran while crossing a high speed bus on Motorway at 120km/h+.
When I had Cuore, I have been in situations on Motorway when i was being crossed by two Buses from both sides at 120km/h being in middle Lane and i had to grip my steering really hard in such situation due to air pressure on both sides in my Cuore. Will I feel same in my Wagon R or is it better or even worse? Will upgrading to bigger tires improve car in such situation as well? Details replies are appreciated

In my last trip on 7.4.16 in windy condition i also checked this thing at speed of 100 and i feel nothing too much. Its mean better than coure and mehran. Bt care is good.

Now that is a very good point about wobbling. The windy day situation is not like we face every day. I have been driving WagonR for six months and it is only first time I have faced a windy day. Weather in Pakistan is not so windy except some coastal areas. So cheer up guys

Just to clarify the people going on and on comparing wagon and cultus .I own a cultus 2014 modle and wagonr 2015 modle. Performance wise wagon is much better as I had a drag race with my brother in the cultus .wagon won by two car distance.
People worried about the stability of the car should not worry as (just to check stability) I drifted in the car at about 45- 50 km which is very high the car was very much stable and in control.
Cultus has better comfort
Wagonr has a very nice interior
Cultus has a horrible sound system.
No hard feelings to cultus owners as I am one.

Fuel average came to around 16.7 per liter and WagonR performance is excellent in 1000cc category. It has smooth drive and i have taken it upto 161 k/h and it was going smooth. I am talking about Pak Suzuki version not imported one. I have had Corolla Indus 1.6 Auto and Toyota Passu back to back but pretty satisfied with the performance of this car. I have taken it to the height and rough road of Gorakh Hills upto the top.
