just posted some pictures of my Wagon R VXL and now i am going to give a simple review on Pak Suzuki Wagon R.
reason of my review is just to guide other people who are going to purchase a ride between 9 lacs to 1.1 Million.
this forum helps me alot in deciding my new ride so i just tought that giving my review on the same forum which helps me deciding my ride will benefit others.
i bought Wagon R VXL in last week of Jan-2016. and i made this deciosion after almost 6 months of my search
previously i owned Mehran , and ofcourse in upgradation i want 1000 cc NEW ride , (not used)
looking into market hot 1000 cc Cars include VITS on top, so i drove it for 1 week, then PASSO, then CULTUS and some other cars.
so after that i made my mind that i am not going to buy JDM cars...as i am very rough driver and drove my mehran on motorways and National Highways very fast and roughly topping Mehran on 146 kms. So JDM just sucks in this matter.
so i prefer Manual Transmission.
first i someup review of Wagon R VS Cultus in a simple word : Cultus sucks against Wagon R
Secondly Wagon R Vs Vitz : Ofcourse Vits Buttttttt....... that Vits which have road clearacne , so a simple line Wagon R Vs Vits: OFCOURSE VITZ
BUT
Wagon R Driver Space, Passenger spaces are way better than Vitz
In performance : Wagon R is better than Vitz, driving my Wagon R on motorway against Vitz and believe Vitz can't even touch with Wagon R bcz of Manual and Auto Transmissions.
But again about specifications VITZ is winner.
for some luxury touch i changed my Wagon R seats with original Leather stitching as shown in pictures , Steering with Leather touch, Leather stitched Console.
under seat cover for whole car with original leather adjustments.
For 0 to 5000 kms Wagon R gave me (12 to 13 Km/L) with AC/Heater ON in city (lahore)
for 5001 to onward (as i drove almost 6200 kms now) after first overall service from PakSuzuki it gave me 13.5 / 14.5 Km/L in city (lahore) with AC on
remember i am very rough driver and this average is keep driving my car on high RPM's .
on low RPM's (20000 to 30000) it gave me 15 Km/L in city with AC ON
On highways and motor ways with high RPM's it gave me maximum 16 Km/L, and on low RPMs its average is maximum 17 Km/L with AC on.
Comfortness level of Car is average and as wrote earlier it has a much driver / passenger space to sit comfortbly.
AC performance is excellent, even in 42 C + temprature of lahore it performs well.
Brakes is average too , as Wagon R didn't have ABS, EBS, EBD, but still its brakes are responsive.
Engine pick is xcellent , not even Honda City aspire 1.5 could have it on motorway when i drove it with,
My top Speed with Wagon R is 175, i crossed Vitz on 160 and on exit to motorway islamabad toll plaza , guy on VITZ came to me and said , he didnt thought Wagon R would be that speedy.
Problem is its tall boady design , driving on motorway with little windy season , you cant drive it upto 120 km/hr as wind stolls it , but having 04 passengers and on windy season you can drive it easily.
Tires.... most important thing DON'T change factory packed TIRES , they are perfect, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT changing factory fitted tires.
boot space in Wagon R is almost same as Vitz.
just going to summed up this all, (many things are still there to talk)
Considering 1000 CC;
Performance: 09/10
Comfortness: 08/10
Fuel Average: 08/10
Body design: 07/10
Reliability: 7.5/10
