PSMC is introducing Electronic Throttle Control System(ETC) in WR
With an electronic throttle control system, the main control unit not only reads input from the driver's foot on the accelerator, but it also examines input from wheels that are slipping, wheels that have grip, the steering system and the brakes, helping correct driver error and keep the car under control. In other words, a throttle control system can balance several factors that affect a car's speed and direction -- not just a foot on the pedal.

So you will get updated one...And is it sure tat it is etc only and if it is then will it affect price tag....im abt to book nxt week...jst kolled suzuki n he said change in assembly line...due to this psmc not picking up bookings n also delivery is stopped...

Bro drive by wire will make it more fuel efficient but will have throttle lag like u have in swift and pkdm corolla ! When u press the race paddle there is a delay in engine response and same for letting go of the race paddle ! So nuthing serious , just go for it

Swift was not laggy at all. Maybe it was laggy at low rpm but the case is opposite at higher rpms.

Bhai i cannot just rely on suzuki capabilities in handling technical stuff, look how they mess up a very decent car Liana. Till now they were just installing engine and related mechanical stuff, now first time they are modifying it so little concern is obvious.

I have heard from the dealer ship that the production of WR is halted at the moment due to some import issues, or may be some cosmetic changes in the WR on the way from Indonesia, it might be ETC or something else, which are not known to dealers or may be they don't want to disclose.

It is for sure that some thing is there to be changed in WR.

For those who are going to book WR in near future will definitely get the modified / latest version of WR. Lets see what its is

My dealer also said the same. But suzuki was supposed to release booked cars between 10-15 May and still its on hold.

its very laggy bro , have 2 swifts ! at high rpm the power kicks in , but the drive by wire is super lazy and laggy ! takes so long to respond ! same problem with pkdm xli gli corollas !

Dbw doesn't improve mileage it just make sure that driver gets no feedback while driving

m13a have cable throttle m13a is made for best driver feel m16a sport have dbw and in some market n15a in sx4 is dbw
