I changed my tyres two weeks ago to bridgestone 165/70 R13 ecopia and was expecting that these will not be economical than stock... But belive me that these tyres are now giving me more mileage... I have driven with stock 12000 km and they used to give 19km/l without AC and about 14km/l with AC. Now I'm getting almost 15km/l with AC and so for no experience without AC. Good brands have least rolling resistance and give good economy... Bridgestone claim that these tyres are 7% economical which seems true

I have recently changed mine to same tyres. I can also confirm this the average is not decreased. I havnt calculated it but it certainly remains same or increased. Tyres are also very good

definitely less cabin noise.. eps is awesome.
ac is the best feature in wr. its just awesome.. the cabin is well insulated so even in hot days when car is standing in direct sunshine, the ac gives cool air from the first second.
immobilizer makes life peaceful and beautiful interior makes you feel happy.

Brother customers are already paying withholding tax of Rs. 20K for Filer and Rs. 25K for non-filer. Please clarify the status of that 3% tax? Whether customer buying through lease will be exempted from that withholding tax and will pay only 3% or otherwise?

Sir, the WHT of 20K and 25K for Filer and Non-Filer is intact. Only the Non-filers are required to pay an additional amount of WHT @ 3% of the invoice price of the car leased thru any leasing company, besides paying the 25K Advance Tax. If the non-filer buys the car on cash, then only the 25K WHT is required to be paid.

It is pertinent to mention here that responsibility for collecting the WHT of 20K and 25K lies with the car manufacturer where as responsibility for collecting the additional WHT @ 3% of invoice price rests with the leasing company. So, both are different taxes.

I switch from cultus to wagon R..n i must say its way better thn cultus..low cabin noise..eps ..fuel efficuency..

i used Nexen 175 70 13 with my cultas for 3 years till i sold it and without a single puncture or other issue. Its a nice tyre

Pathetic ... Government is day by day imposing unnecessary burden over common people and we are silently accepting ... Here in KP Excise Department is charging Rs. 1200 for Non-Filer and Rs. 1000 for Filer as Income Tax with yearly token fee of Rs. 500 for Wagon R which is obviously a middle class citizen's vehicle ... Don't know about other Provinces but its too much as many owners are already paying income tax in their monthly salaries to the Government but don't know under which rule/policy they are charging it twice ... Is there any way of exemption please share ...

I am coming from 3S maintained 04 corolla, would it suffice? alhamdolillah for me its at par or sometimes even better than that. Quiet cabin, buttery steering n just like my ex corollas AC, it had replaced my corolla and Mehran VXR E2 2013 brand new as at the time of test drive I was having aforementioned two cars though its comparison with Mehran is senseless yet mentioned just to share.

My fuel average is not very good with them ..im. getting 13 ~15 with in city.
I think Even 165/65 or 165/70 will not give as much good economy as stock tyres size 145/80 can give.
Guys correct me if im wrong

Yes you are right stock tyres are meant for good fuel economy and comfortable drive. Only reason why I changed was tiny look. With Dunlop sp touring 175.70.13 I am getting 325km with Rs 1000 fuel (Rs300= hobc Rs700 = super) 80% AC mix of City and gt road.

Did u clean/replace air filter and get ur spark plugs cleaned ...and then observe ur fuel average

Me using 5-30 Zic A+. Not remarkably however I am getting app 21 KMs per litre without AC n combination of both local n long with a light foot

thats very good avg btw in peshawar traffic is worst i cant maintain light foot peski taxi drivers just overtake them
but 21 kml is very good thats similar to alto Eco S on ac gave me in local

I'm sold on this, i plan to sell cultus as soon as it starts to show any symptoms of aging, it has done 98k so far and has been a reliable beast and a workhorse, i did not really care for it much but its entirely genuine with no touch ups anywhere, and i doubt it will fetch any money for it, it really feels like a huge waste letting go of a perfectly reliable car, a few quirks can be over looked i.e: manual steering, and cabin noise.. although both of these are cheaply remedied but i tend to avoid local ustads and Lectricians like the plague..

My question is regarding fuel consumption of Wagon R after second service.

Recently on Sunday 25th of July, 2016,I got second free service (oil change, gear oil change, oil filter change, air filter not changed, as the mechanic himself said, it was okay) of my car at 3700KM (i was reluctant to have 2nd free service at 3700KM, but people there at 3S there told me that i need to get my Car's second free service after 5K KM or 6 months, whichever comes first, so i went for it).

Anyway my question is, that before 2nd free service, i was getting fuel average of 12 to 13KM/L with 80 to 85% AC on within city. And now don't know what has happened, that after 2nd service instead of fuel average getting better, it has suddenly decreased to almost 10KM/L with same usage and on same roads and almost same traffic (when i would get 12 to 13/L before 2nd service)

Has the mechanic there done anything wrong? Should i take my car back to 3S or is it normal that after first oil change it initially consumes more petrol?

The mechanic there (at Suzuki Township Motors) was lethargic. Tho they have good mechanics as well, but the one i got last time was not good. He did not do satisfactory work.

If someone could suggest me what should i do?
