I got Fog Lamps (DLAA) installed on my Wagon R today. They seem to be working fine, but i have concerns regarding the fog lamps switch. First of all that switch didn't fix in like the one already installed next to it (please see attached images). Secondly, the light on 'fog lamp switch' keeps 'on' even when the car and fog lamps are switched off. Is this normal, should i take my car back to him to ask why the light on switch remains on? And will it have any affect on car's battery?

Around the 2-3 months depending on mode of payment. On full payment is takes 2 months and 3 for leased one.

Own is around 50k to 55k.

Update: I went to that shop again today and told him the light on switch remains on. Today there was some other electrician, he fixed that issue. And now the light on fog lamp switch goes on when i turn on the parking light. And i can only switch on the fog lamps if parking lights are on, unlike previously, when fog lights could be turned on even if the car was off

Guys wagonr ride is hard? I feel mine is hard. Secondly does anyone of you notice grinding noise when passing through the rough roads. I feel mine. Its 3200km driven so far and this noise is pissing me off now

Can we grease or oil the shock absorbers to make them soft as currently they have become quite stiff due to I reckon winters as in summers they were OK?

This is how wagon r fog lamps button looks and fits like, member hasibna got it for 200 from shobha. Your electrician should be fined for doing such an ugly job.

Exactly. But he told me the original button that comes with DLAA fog lamps for Wagon R, is the one that he installed in my car. Do we need to get that button separately (the one u showed in picture)? From where can i get that hutton in Lahore, any idea? I got fog lamps installed from Honda Mor, Model town, Lahore.

That work good.... Regarding switch I found the original switch in Shoba bazar Peshawar after some search... You can search in your local city for switch and can find it easily...

Silver ofcourse.
Its a light colour with a metallic touch
Dust isnt visible as on a dark colour such as grey
Lasts long in between washing cycles

Some crook stole it. I managed to get after market ones for Rs 30. Surprisingly the OEM is much cheaper and pretty fine just equivalent to the ones were originally installed. Havnt unpacked it yet but placed in my car as bit inferior one is already installed and looks same as the genuine one. Brother such jokes are very heart strengthening
