obviously senior members output will be much valuable than mine.. but for starters.. and learning from my experiences and mistakes
- READ ENTIRE OWNER MANUAL.. most important
- Change your tires if you can afford to, to 165 R13 size in any good brand.. original tires are very bad at handling at high speeds.
- 1st free service is at 1000km..nothing major is done.. 2nd free service is at 5000km., engine and gear oils are changed.. preferably get the Suzuki efficient oil rated 5W- which is only 300rs more than the standard 10-40. makes car smoother.. after that, you can use any brand shell, caltex, rated 5-30 or even 0-30 i think. READ OWNER MANUAL..
- NEVER WASH THE Engine with powered pumps.. simple wash it with slow running water.. snsors will get damaged with high pressure water... make sure service stations donot use pressure in engine bay.
- to keep it shiny, just wash it once a week.. home wash is equally good.. use a tub with shampoo.. not surf.. tub saves water and better cleaning
- Best protections are regular cleaning, and keep car in shade, not sunlight when parked for long times.
- Wax is important. caranuba waxes, preferably Turtle wax or any good brand twice a month.
- Install a good amp and some speakers..makes long drives much enjoyable
- Door side window visors cost only 600 for all 4,.. very handy item
- in winters near december, do get fog lights fitted. very important saftey item in fog.. Donot get from suzuki, they charge 18k... market will do same for 1/4th..
