Book locking lever is under your driver sear just along side the fuel pump lid lever.. so one of your issues is solved

Fuel consumption was initially bad in my case as well getting 13+ till first oil change. I insisted for 5W/30 at first oil change and fuel average jumped to 15.5 which I consider very good for local driving and 165 tyre size.

WagonR is indeed a nice car but...

I think it's best to spend some more and get The Swift, preferably with an automatic.

Or perhaps a used Prius or a 2012+ Corolla GLI Auto!

12 to 16 is a big jump, many other options pop up in that range. What ever one might say a small car has its utility.

When talked to dealership they we have made several feed backs. Suzuki says we cant full fill the demand why make changes.

If they tweak minute changes or add ons its definitely a nice option

Seats are very uncomfortable ... i have a daily distance of 55 km and i must say its problematic for back.
i got the same avg 12-12.5 at max then Suzuki recommended throttle service at 40k then avg improved to max 14 but no more than that ... 16 17 waali kahaaniya ha saare
Major thing regarding parts that how expensive they are. 15000 for side mirror which is not even powered.

bhai 12K ka Sultan k khoo / bilal gunj se used Sting Ray Wagon R ka mil jata hai which even has side indicator in it. Company se obviously expensive cheez he milty hai.

Suzuki guys pour 10W/40 engine oil by default in all cars whether its mehran, Swift, cutlus or WagonR. This grade is good for mehran or old cultus but not for WagonR.

Using this grade you will get 12-13 kmpl out of WagonR

I obviously know that. That only useful when ur in the car. You wont go unlock the car and open it with the lever.

Once you get used to the button mechanism you'll know what am I saying.

new engine takes time to settle new rings and pistons. so yes everything gets better after first oil change. you might even see some metal in the first oil change.

Have anyone installed 165 tyres on wagon r with new alloy rims, car is due in nov and I want to install wider tyres, I have seen the new rims are quite narrow and bigger tyres installed on these rims which looked awkward, I want to know about the driving experience with this combination, should I get them change or stick to stock ? Also share your driving experience with stock tyres ?

Nothing will happen I'm using 14" alloyrims in my car with 165/65/14 tyre..good handling and stability getting 13km/l in city.

Using 175/70/13 yokohama excellent grip but as per my opinion alloys are waste of momey and hard for suspension. Use stock rims with improved tyres

you are absoltely right i too waste money on Alloy due to vibrations have to come back to stock rims
